“I had an amazing experience training with Cory! I have had experience in the gym sporadically over the past 3 decades, but never had any coaching. After taking a hiatus from the gym (other than dumbbells and a rowing machine at home), I decided to hire a personal trainer to get me out of the house, focus on overall strength, and use some equipment that I don't have access to at home. I chanced upon Cory and am so glad I did.<br><br>I loved all aspects of working with Cory. What I love about him:<br><br>He is an incredible teacher/coach, explaining things very well. I understood what he was asking, his feedback, and his descriptions of what different exercises were doing for me. I come from a teaching background and really appreciate, as a learner, his ability.<br><br>He has an impressive depth of knowledge, helping me understand things I didn't even know I wanted to know. I felt like he was tapping into a wealth of knowledge and that he keeps up to date on the industry.<br><br>He has a great mix of professionalism while connecting as a person. I felt like we stayed on track, while I also enjoyed various conversations about things outside of training. Great mix.<br><br>He is a fantastic communicator - clear and efficient, courteous and kind. Motivating. I always felt like I was doing a great job, and if he had suggestions on how to improve, it felt very positive.<br><br>The program he has put together feels amazing and complete. I love the mix of exercises, and feel like it is working parts of my body that my old self-developed home program (mostly using Huberman's exercise protocol as a guide) didn't achieve.<br><br>If you are looking to get into strength training for the first time, or, like me, are looking for some inspiration/motivation, new exercises that target the whole body, and just an overall extremely pleasant experience, Cory is your guy!
