“The Function Health Club in Poco is exactly what I needed to start a healthy fitness journey! I joined in May this year after not moving for a long time. I was in a bad place, not listening to my body, in pain like a 100-year-old lady, and in a bad mood all the time. There's still a lot of work to do, but I can see differences in my mood, my mobility, and the pain is different now—it's where it should be most of the time. I can even see differences in the mirror with the right lighting and angle! The gym is my safe haven now, and I really feel like I belong there.The team is incredibly fun, familiar, totally approachable, they are amazing well-prepared professionals, and supportive of each one of us. On top of that, you can see them pushing themselves too. What's more encouraging than when you see your coaches working hard alongside you!? The facility is great, there are plenty of materials, and the group classes keep changing and are challenging. They even have different time slots for you to come during the day; no excuses. If you're someone who doesn't like doing the same exercises over and over again, give Function Health Club in Poco a chance—you won't regret it! :)“

“I started my journey at Eagle Ridge Fitness last year and can't say enough about how kind, caring and motivating the team is. Not only do the instructors get me to try new exercises, they also push me to keep myself accountable - especially now during the pandemic. “I've been training with EB for over a year now, and began my journey with the sole purpose of being stronger (and relatively pain free) and can share, I've been able to accomplish that, learned how to Olympic lift, made some fun friends, and gotten both my daughter (10yo) and my father (70yo) into it too.As both a woman and a retired/past athlete - the gym has always been a weird place for me - think non-inviting, intimidating and bro-y, while also being a place that brings no joy.EB couldn't be more opposite; the coaches are amazing, they take the time to listen to YOU, all while and offering options that are best suited to you, your mobility needs and your goals. The environment is open-door welcoming, music is always on, the community that is there is supportive, encouraging, and always talking/laughing (even when we're supposed to be lifting).The coaching focus - from Anthony + Sara, on technical skill, consistency, and comprehensive strength and conditioning is beneficial to every one - regardless of age, experience, or fitness level.Honestly, this is the kind of gym, I wish I had experienced as a younger person - the kind of gym that makes you want to take up space, be strong, and feel proud of who you are. And to know that my daughter is getting to experience this now through their Youth Train to Train program, building her strength and her confidence makes me super grateful to have found this space.If it's not clear, I would highly recommend booking at least a visit to see what EB could offer you. Additionally would highly recommend signing up for the Kickstart Program when it opens as both an intro to the foundations of skill, and a way to test it out (it's a great value price wise too).“

“I’ve been training with IF Coquitlam twice a week for the past year and it has been such a great experience. I always look forward to each session and learning from my trainers Travis and Mack who are like family now - and every one else on the team I’ve got to work with! I’ve been able to accomplish things I never thought I could and it has completely changed my view on health, fitness, and my relationship with my body. I really appreciate that they’re always evaluating progress, adding in new and unique exercises, doing fun group challenges, etc. Can’t wait to see what comes next! Highly recommend.“

“I had the pleasure of working with Meagan Chow at bump physio. I could not recommend her services more. She is not only knowledgeable, but easy to talk to and has a great attention to detail. She made me feel comfortable during the appointment, and would cater the exercises to my lifestyle needs. I looked forward to my appointments with her! She helped me work through pelvic floor pain, and recover from giving birth. I will absolutely go back to her if I ever need more pelvic floor physiotherapy. Meagan is personable, cheerful, professional, effective at her practice, and fun.“

“I joined this gym a few months ago because I was tired of working out alone at the gym. Since joining, I've become addicted to CrossFit. The community here is amazing as everyone is so kind and welcoming. The coaches are knowledgable and will provide modified workouts so there's always a workout you can do. Every workout is different so it doesn't feel repetitive. I always feel encouraged and supported and I'm so thankful for this gym :)“

“Facilities are clean and place is relatively well taken care of. Good culture and the place doesn’t get as rushed as more budget gyms I’ve been to in the past. I have done personal training with Vish - would recommend as you get to learn proper form, technique, have a workout plan. Plus with the personal training, there’s a seperate room dedicated for it so you don’t have to wait or worry about rush in the general gym faculties itself. The place has decent amount of parking as well including an underground. Overall would recommend this gym and it’s personal training services.“
