“A bit of a messy project, clearing the downstairs drain pipe from laundry through kichen through shower. I had spent 3 days trying to handle on own before making the call.
Plumber was very competent, carefully listened to my description, cleared the pipe completely, then &@! :) explained everything I needed to understand to prevent a recurrence. Everything!
Charge was $300 +; steep, but slightly lower than others.
Thanks to other reviewers’ input, I could find a reliable, reasonable, local and smaller scale company to do this work.

“We purchased our house a year ago and have been enjoying our radiant floors. One day during the cold snap, we noticed that the floors weren't emitting any heat. AB Tech was recommended by a friend of ours so I called Bruce and explained the situation. Good news/bad news: it was a Friday and he was in the middle of a big job and couldn't come until Monday. Then an hour later, he called to say he was breaking away from the big job to come look. He noted that the boiler wasn't serviced in a while and the pilot needed replacing. He spent a couple hours on this when I know he had to get back to the big job, but he was committed. He just came back today to finish the service. I'm grateful to Bruce and his crew for taking the time to help us. It would have been a cold weekend.“

Jared came by and fixed a minor leak most expeditiously - and even had enough time left to re-spray the galvanized piping. Double checked all appliances and reconfirmed all items before leaving the premises, with a very reasonable rate to boot. “We had our boiler fail on us just one month after moving into a new place, on Christmas Eve of all evenings! Being an Ashton member, I didn’t hesitate to call Ashton for the service and Japn was promptly at my door on Christmas morning. He spent almost 3 hours diagnosing the problem, he was not in a hurry, but spent time answering all our questions as we were scrambling with a plan to do without hot water and heat.

Japn and Abhi came back the next day (26th) to get the work started, they were thorough, and lay the temporary flooring throughout the entire house to not dirty our space. The work required 2 days and Japn and Prabh completed after the weekend with another 1/2 day of work. Japn was reassuring and very patient with all our questions and concerns.

Becoming an Ashton member in the fall was the best decision as I can only imagine the call out fee for Christmas Day. Although it was not in our plan to have to replace the boiler so quickly, Ashton did it as smoothly as possible. I really am grateful for Japn, he spent many days of this holiday season at our home and we are so glad to have our hot water and heat back!“

“Yesterday evening (Oct 28.25) we discovered that our furnace was not providing warm air although the fan was functioning. As an Ashton Advantage Protection Plan subscriber I contacted the emergency number and scheduled a service call for later in the evening.
Although on another call, the Service Technician (I believe his name is 'Japn') estimated and achieved an arrival time and proceeded to rectify the problem quickly, efficiently and courteously.
I trust that this 'gold star' service will be recognized by the Ashton Group!
