“Quiet resting place for many people. Convenient for family to visit their loved ones who passed.

Access is available from multiple entries. Grass is well-maintained, and water is available for flowers, etc. Lots of geese and ducks make this place their dwelling so their excrement is found everywhere.“

“The service and care we were given by the staff for my late mother (Maria Iovino) at Dignity Funeral Home was excellent and done with so much compassion and care at a time when emotions are high. We also used Dignity many years ago when my father passed away. I would recommend them to anyone that needs service. Thank you.“

“With the loss of my mother back in March of 2026 this year, Ryan has provided exceptional service to our family. Everything was done super quickly in less than a day and I highly recommend him also providing his phone number so then if anything regarding cremation questions he was just a call away. ☺ I want to give a big thank you to Ryan and his team at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home and know that if you are considering their services, please do not hesitate to contact them. Everything will be handled with care and they treat the funeral services just like as if it was their own family.

Facility wise of the building, very home-like and you can make yourself at home. Offices, bathrooms/washrooms, and dining area is super clean. Regularly cleaned which is very nice 👍

I like how even beyond a loss of someone super important in your life they even have after-care services to help with coping and grieving which is super nice. I wonder now since it’s July 2026 I’m writing this and if I can ever still contact Ryan to see how he is doing or check in on how to go on after losing our mother.

Prices are very well done, Ryan also quickly canceled any government ongoing services which is very kind and professional of him! The body being transported from the hospital was also very efficient. Honestly, if I were doing this job I would be very traumatized 😭

Anyway, I hope this review shows that I’m not just glazing a company for it’s service but rather I’m a real person NOT a bot so I can highly guarantee that this service was very well done.

I appreciate Ryan for also accommodating a traditional Chinese funeral for burning joss paper and much more. He really honoured our wishes. I wish you all the best in the future! I hope you continue being a funeral director because I’m definitely putting you on my will when the time comes so you can be my funeral director.

Thank you Ryan Yiu and his team, do not hesitate to contact Ryan or his team members if experiencing the loss of your loved one. It seriously is a hard time, and honestly you just have to move on and keep living a happy life. Thank you for reading, I hope this review was helpful! 👍“

“We had to deal with a sudden loss of a family member. Barbara was empathetic and informative right form the first phone call. You could tell she genuinely cared and went through the entire process with us making sure we understood everything. Unlike most places where they try and sell sell sell, she catered to our wants and needs putting the client first.“

“Everyone who helped us was extremely kind, understanding, compassionate and personable.

Bruce ans Madison went above and beyond. They kept us informed and explained all the processes thoroughly and allowed us to make decisions without judgment.

As someone who has never had to make these arrangements, I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful and supportive team to help me through such a hard and unexpected time in my life.

Thank you for everything.“

““Killed by Electric Car.”
The 1904 gravestone of 10-year-old Eddie Lukov is an uncanny reminder of the resettlement of Vancouver in the early age of industrialized progress. Potentially killed along the emerging electric streetcar corridor running on the old Indigenous trail and early Westminster/Kingsway route — before Fraser Street (North Arm Road) fully emerged as major commercial residential corridor. Stories like these echoes a city shaped by engineers like Tesla, Edison, and repopulated by migrants from places like Yiddish-Polish-Austrian Galicia into an emerging grand villages worlds away: to the original Granville core then South and out around Vancouver“

“Cody and Desiree were both kind and helpful in a difficult time. Pretty much the last thing I was looking to do was shop around or deal with details, and from the first phone call they took over the process and helped make it easy. Pricing felt fine to me, nothing seemed unreasonable. It truly seemed like they sympathized with my situation and they helped me deal with it professionally and with care.“

“Herb at Raincoast was great to work. He was the only supplier of three I contacted that said he could sandblast the design I submitted. The finished product was an exact replica of my layout. Moreover, the turnaround was quick and pricing extremely competitive. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a marker made up to contact Raincoast Memorials.“

“CLEANLINESS: 10/10. No garbage. Lawn is clean. Even flowers that have died are taken care of. Seems like they have a caretaker of sorts.
SETTING: Nice pathways around the park with very dignified settings including benches and rocks used as gravestones. Quiet and peaceful.
GROUNDS: Well kept and orderly. Grass is cut. Nothing is overgrown that was noticeable.
GRAVESTONES: Seems like they date from the mid 1970s to about 2010. At least the majority of them.“

They helped us dress him with so much care, kindness and compassion. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yudi, Sonia and the entire Riverside Funeral Home staff.“
