“After three years of no exercise and no gym workouts I decided it was time to get back into shape. I started going to the gym but within a couple months I injured my shoulder and realized I was not making much progress toward achieving my fitness goals. Looking for a different approach, I decided to join TriFit and chose the group training program instead of a one-on-one personal trainer. Within two months it was clear that I had progressed much further compared to working out on my own and I believe the group training approach is as effective as having a personal trainer but for a fraction of the cost. The trainers are very focused on technique and form which makes a huge difference in getting maximum results for effort expended. I'm very happy with the TriFIT program and recommend it for anyone regardless of their age or physical condition.“

“I started my membership here about 6 months ago. Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a gym. I enjoy the format, the instructors, the members and the results. I have had many gym memberships over my lifetime and what I can attest to is this: You get what you pay for.Top 10 things I love about Results Only:1 Same workout all day - with many sessions to choose from2 No appointment necessary ... I'm a realtor so my schedule can change at the drop of a hat... if I can't make the 7:00, I can go to any of the other session that day and get the same workout.3 Every workout is a full body workout. No more am I trying to figure out a schedule that will include a leg day, upper body day, cardio, flexibility, balance etc. I can get it all in one session and more if I want (ask about Bullet Proof strength, Deca Fit and more)4 I love the trainers!!! ALL are personable, friendly, encouraging, compassionate, knowledgeable and most of all, they pay attention to what I'm doing, how I'm doing it and if I need to back off or step it up.5 Nutrition guidance is included in my membership. I can take advantage of it if I want the help and there's no shame if I don't.6 Convenient - for me the location couldn't be any better. I live in Uptown Phoenix and I can get here within in 5 minutes...7 Members love it and stick with it - when I first started, I would ask others how long they have been members... I was amazed that most everyone would have an incredible history here: 18 yrs, 10 yrs, 5 yrs... That spoke volumes to me.. people don't stay with something like this if it isn't worth it, enjoyable and effective.8 Demographic - it's all over. But I'd say most people are between 30 - 60. There are several on either side of this range, both men and women... Students, professionals, retirees. All shapes and sizes from super athletic looking to maintain to the chunky monkeys looking to get healthier.9 Cleanliness is a priority here. Equipment is cleaned after every session, and we all do our part to keep it that way.10 Finally, the unexpected... ice cold, aromatic, face towel handed out at the end of workouts... brilliant... simply brilliant... especially here in the valley of the sun... this little touch underscores the thoughtfulness the owners put into the gym. It's like a little gift at the end of a hard workout.“

“A unique experience not found through other gyms. I have been to Unify for both workouts and therapy. The workouts are unique with teacher oversight and instruction to ensure proper technique and safety (won’t find that at CrossFit). These workouts were not typical squats and curls but exercises that work on balance, strength, and coordination through movements that created muscle confusion and stamina.I also used trainers at unify for recovery and therapy to relieve lower back pain. Little did I know they were able to identify my lack of hip mobility as the culprit to my back pain and posture issues. Theyve been able to customize my workout routines accordingly to strengthen where necessary and provide instruction on stretches and recovery tactics. THANK YOU!!!“

“My children have been attending JSK Taekwondo for a few months. I have loved our experience. The staff is incredibly professional and very obviously enjoy what they do. “Doug is quite simply… the best. I’m coming on 2 years with him as my PT and the things I’ve learned from him about proper exercise, a clean diet, and taking care of my body has been incredibly valuable. He makes sure I’m using proper form to ensure the maximum benefits of my workouts. He is FULL of information and loves to share what he knows. He truly cares about his clients and helping them reach their goals. He’s also really funny and a great friend when you get to know him, always hyping you up and pushing you to be the best version of yourself. “The Body Firm is an excellent gym for semi-private trainer guided workouts. Owners Doug and Tori Thompson know their stuff as fitness professionals and as a bonus are positive, supportive, and top notch people overall. My wife started semi-private training sessions last year and convinced me to start in February this year. I'm in my mid-fifties and never regularly exercised, was overweight, and had horrible balance. While the workouts are tough, I won't deny that, the results are undeniable and so worth it. Doug's specialty is pushing you to do more than you thought you could do and Tori rocks at keeping your form effective and giving you positive energy and encouragement. I only wish I had started going to The Body Firm years ago. Do yourself a good health favor and go see Doug, Tori and their team.“
