I hired Chena Lawn Care to help me get the yard of our house in Fairbanks ready for sale. It had been rented and was in dire need for maintenance. They worked with me on the project and had no problem with me doing some of the advance work. They cut trees, and brush mowed our rather large yard and the fire perimeter around the house and the driveway back to the road. Just to provide some scope, when we lived there full time and I did this work it took me more than a week to do all this much work. Then when the transfer station shut down, they came up with the idea of chipping the trees on site and that's what they did. Looks great. I may end up using them again.

My dress was badly damaged by another tailor and she spent hours fixing it and helping me get it just right for my big day. Her prices are reasonable and she worked very hard to meet my timeline, even coming in over the weekend to make sure everything got done. Thank you so much! I asked for an A-line and some low lights, but i was crunched on time before I had to get back home. I asked if it could be done before I needed to head home and she said yes. I love the new look, my family loves my new hair, and it was the first time I'd gotten it cut like that and first ever time getting low lights!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. My friends daughter has alopecia, so I have been growing and saving my hair for years. The stylist made sure to harvest as much of the hair as possible and said that since I was donating it, she would do this one for free. Gave me an amazing haircut afterward as well. I am absolutely coming back!

Great local barber in town that has consistent workers who are very friendly. They do not take appointments so they are first come first served. It's best to get there during the very slow times which are midday and right after the morning rush.
She does an amazing job. I would go as far as to say that she is one of the best barbers in Fairbanks, Alaska if not the best. I had a slight misunderstanding with her about my haircut and she fixed it. For no charge whatsoever. This is the customer service that builds repeat customers. She did an amazing job. The women working when I came in were very sweet and the nail tech kept on checking in with me as she was doing my full set to see if so far it's what I'm wanting. Great haircuts! Been getting my haircut by Karmen for over 20 years and never had a bad cut. Always super simple, I just give a vague description and she works her magic.
I have been going to Steffani at Retreat Beauty Bar for what seems like a decade. I swear I always leave happy. From hair extensions to a shorter a line cut, I always am given what I ask for as long as it is a healthy route taken for my hair. I even get a little therapy sesh in because she is such a good listener. Every experience is a good one. I will continually be a client at this business.
I went from having a lot of long hair weighing me down, to short and curly, thanks to Scott Allison. He definitely understands how curls work and my new haircut makes my whole life lighter. With an occasional trim it is easy to just wash and go.

I had a forearm design made by Amy at Electric Gypsy that covered some previous scars. She spent extra time at the appointment making sure that she was giving me exactly what I wanted, and listened to my ideas and needs. As an out of towner, I felt welcomed when it was clearly a busy time yet it wasn’t rushed and I got exactly what I wanted. Amy and the folks here would be the only ones in Fairbanks I would go to again!

Brian figured out a tricky electrical problem in our home. We were getting shocked by our drier and when the breaker for a certain bedroom was turned on, our electric bill was double. Our situation was caused by a shorted wire between 2 outlets in the bedroom. Brian was professional and approachable: he took the time to explain what he was thinking and he kept going until he isolated the problem. He worked late for us. When He needed to he stopped to think about it and came back later. He cleaned up after himself completely. We could not be more pleased!
Tree fell on power to the house. Star staff responded quickly, good assessment of repairs, got the needed parts, and excellent quality of work. Only reason power was not restored the first night was GVEA inspection and connect power to the pole.Star was a perfect choice.

I've used them twice to clean my living room carpet (dogs can be a pest sometimes). Each time the service is excellent and the cleaner is friendly. He recommended a fantastic enzyme cleaner that works like a charm on tough pet smells. The price is very reasonable. He also leaves drying fans if you need them, you simply return the next day. I plan to use this company again.
Joe and his guys did the drywall and electrical at my cabin a few years ago. Electrical had one issue in the beginning and he was there within a few hours to fix it. Since then no problems. I’ve leveled the cabin more than once in the past few years and never got a single drywall crack. All around great job.

Most likely the biggest investment Alaskans make is in their homes. We need to protect the exteriors of these houses against Alaska weather, and that's where Graham Construction came in. Graham Construction did a professional, quality job on both of our biggest investments. We are just getting ready to ask their help again for a 3rd time. We are so happy with the staff, the the timely manner the job was completed and with the final outcomes. We were given lots of personal attention and plenty of tips along the way from this outstanding company.
SQC General Contractors were able to respond quickly and repair damage to my home that was discovered when new windows and doors were being installed by another business. They were very professional, explained the required work in detail, and the craftsmanship of the repair was quality. As part of the repair my deck was going to be cut into. I asked that the entire deck be torn out and replaced with a Tyvek deck. The end result was a beautiful deck that will last for years and be easy to maintain.
I want to give a shout out to Brice Construction out of Fairbanks. I flew from Palmer toward Nome and couldn’t make it across the Yukon River due to a fog bank. I barely made it into Kaltag Airport before the weather overtook me. I figured I’d be sleeping in the plane for the night, but Brice Construction happened to be resurfacing the runway there. An employee named Mike came and got me and took me to the company cabin for the night. He took me to dinner and breakfast on Brice Construction’s dime and made sure I was set up for my flight the next day. Mike and Brice Construction made a hairy situation into a comfortable and memorable experience and I couldn’t be more grateful. I told several people about my experience and their response was, “Yup, sounds like Brice Construction”. So if anyone has the opportunity to hire these folks for a job, I can’t recommend them more highly!

We contacted Great Alaska Tree Company to come out and quote us on some trees we thought might need to go. Eric came out, in the evening to accommodate our schedule, and looked at the trees. He could have told me we needed to cut them and I would've paid, but instead, he made a few other recommendations to benefit the wallet, and after being told I didn't know anything about trees, proceeded to look at trees on our property and educate us on what to look for. Phenomenal service and we will use them when the time comes to cut.

They were able to keep her comfortable while using new tech to fix 2 of her cavities and used a numbing agent that kept her from feeling anything for the extraction. While visiting the Fairbanks area I developed a tooth issue, after 2 days of putting up with the pain and now its a Friday and it's not better I looked up Dentists in Fairbanks and decided I'd better get it checked out, then worried if I could get in any where, I called Four Corners right after they opened and told me to come in and they would work me in, I got there filled out the forms, gave them my dental insurance info, and yes they do take Delta Dental!
They got me in a chair on less than 15 minutes, x-rays and exam and found the problem, gave me options and got me fixed up, in and out in an hour and a half.
Thanks everyone at Four Corners I am now back to enjoying my vacation!

This was my first visit for a chiropractic appointment with Dr. Heather. My experience was great. The staff at the desk were friendly, helpful and helped get me checked in. Dr. Heather was great, very thorough, engaged and I left there feeling better than when I arrived. The staff were accommodating when I had to call last minute and reschedule my appointment due to my own double booking. I am so appreciative of their flexibility and understanding. Dr mike is the best. I Haven't been to a chiropractor in about a decade and he works miracles. As a snowboarder I've really tweaked my body and Dr mike is able to explain in simple terms what was wrong. After just one visit I feel far more mobile. I've already booked my next appointment and can't wait for it.

I've been using Muttisoury Doggie Daycare for my dog since last summer and she always loves it. I've also been using Dr. D for my veterinary care needs since about the same time. Dr.D is very nice, knowledgeable and caring with all my furry friends. Both veterinary and Doggie daycare are reasonably priced. Highly recommended both.
I took my German shepherd here. It was her very first time grooming, and so I was a bit nervous. But it turned out to be a wonderful experience! The staff made my dog feel safe and welcomed. They took great care of her, super patient. My dog tends to be shy, and the staff handled it so professionally. I am so happy about the results. Great haircut, nail trimming, bathing, everything. I am so happy to take her care, and I will now be coming here all the time. Shout-out to Skylar (I hope I spell the name right!). It was a good price too.
They offer nail trimming for cats! The staff are warm and friendly, and my cat always comes home happy. It's very easy to book an appointment. Service is always fast. I am very thankful for these wonderful animal lovers!

Nice operation. Does not allow any personal items to be left with pets boarded. I realize why but the comfort of a personal bed or blanket with familiar smells can be very comforting to animals being boarded. Overall great place with caring owner and staff.

They have a group of therapists that all work for their patients' betterment. They value safety, and though they make you push your limits, they constantly check in with you on how you are doing. They seem to understand anatomy and exercises for the parts that are needed, and they give you home exercises to speed up the progress! Do them, it makes recovery faster!
