It took me a long time to find a barber in Fairbanks that did exactly what I wanted. I've used 3 different barbers at J D and all have delivered excellent cuts. I highly recommend them to family and friends.

Got cut by Justis. He’s pretty good assuming he’s a apprentice. Has a ways to go but he’s getting close. He takes criticism well and is gonna be a solid barber, Good kid, very polite. The Master Barber in there (not sure if he’s the owner) knows what he’s talking about and is great at what he does. He takes pride in work and you can tell he’s teaching Justis everything he can. He will not let you walk out with a bad cut and you can tell his name and business name mean a lot to him. I will be back for my next cut 10/10 recommend. Good Environment, and they’re all professional.

Absolutely recommend this barber shop. The atmosphere is awesome, those gentlemen really know how to cut hair. Justis Wallace is an insanely skilled young man. If he can get my hair perfect for my mom’s wedding I won’t doubt he’s got you covered!
