Mike's original bid was good, lower than some others. He was willing to adjust his schedule to accommodate mine. When we were talking in early summer, he was booked until early fall. But I had solar panels to be removed and replaced, and that job was available in June, So Mike managed June. There was a complete add-on that was expensive, but needed to be done. His guys worked steadily. I hope they got lunch! They were friendly and kept the work area clean. The job was completed in good time, even considering the add-on. Good weather helped!
Mike was clear on the estimate, had a great crew, kept us updated daily on the ongoing work (with photos) and delivered what we agreed on, on time, and on estimate. I was confident in his and his crew’s skills and that they could, and would, have handled any wildcards that might have come up.
I had Straight Ahead Construction replace my 25-year old roof this summer and install gutter guards. These folks were the absolute BEST to work with, start to finish! Mike gave a prompt written estimate and worked a chimney replacement into his timeline. Communication throughout the job was exceptional, and the work crew was amazing--timely and professional, cleaned up as they went, and the entire job was completed in days. Thanks Mike and crew!
