I want to give a shout out to Brice Construction out of Fairbanks. I flew from Palmer toward Nome and couldn’t make it across the Yukon River due to a fog bank. I barely made it into Kaltag Airport before the weather overtook me. I figured I’d be sleeping in the plane for the night, but Brice Construction happened to be resurfacing the runway there. An employee named Mike came and got me and took me to the company cabin for the night. He took me to dinner and breakfast on Brice Construction’s dime and made sure I was set up for my flight the next day.
