We recently purchased a 25 year old condo and wouldn't you know it, the first cold weekend of the year we fired up the furnace and it worked for around 6 hours before failing. The unit had a cracked heat exchanger. The furnace & AC needed to be replaced as they were very much on their last legs, and we asked 5 companies to provide us a bid. Actually, we asked 15 companies, but 10 different HVAC companies refused to give us a bid either because A) we were in a condo complex (they won't work in condos), or B) we were in Kirkland (some of them don't like working with the Kirkland building Dept.) Eric was great at dealing with my requests when negotiating the purchase and installation. The workers that worked on my house were very professional. They had an issue with setting up the smart thermostat for the system, but they continued to work on it until it was resolved.
