“The Exam with Dr. Wang was great, but I didn't like that the sales associate I had tried to recommend high-end additions to my frames. She marked up the value where if I didn't read the fine print or ask questions, I would of needlessly spent hundreds of dollars or more, though my insurance covers the bulk. Go in with a budget and don't spend more than you need, based on sales advice. Otherwise, Target Optical has some great frames.“

“I recently had my first official eye exam! I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Campbell was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything perfectly. Technology was very current and I never felt rushed. From a design perspective the office was beautiful, modern and inviting. Thanks SPEX!“

“Zach helped me find not one, but two great frames that are unique and each suits me perfectly. After a small mixup with the lenses, he addressed the situation immediately. When you come to Coopers, expect excellent customer care and a well curated selection of frames.“

“This is the best eyewear place you can find. The owner takes such personal interest in giving her clients excellent service. She also goes out of her way to save money by getting work done by manufacturer warranty repairs. I can't recommend it highly enough.“

“I lost a screw in my glasses and they fixed it free of charge! I'd gone to another place and they just put a piece of metal in there, that eventually fell out. They also tightened the other screws and replaced the pads. So cool and such a great help, would highly recommend.“

“Scheduling: My first interaction was a hot mess tbh. It was about scheduling a new patient visit over the phone, and it was with a person that seemed quite flustered. They never sent over an email confirmation (they said they would) after we'd scheduled an appointment over the phone. With no confirmation email, I thought I had not been scheduled. I then made two online appointments, ended up cancelling the one that didn't work with my schedule. Thats when he proceeded to reach out for a call back (voicemail & email). Essentially, I got on the phone for him to tell me that I was in the wrong. Apparently, if you make an over the phone appointment, they don't send an email confirmation. SIGH. Whatever. Dr. Appt: Once I got in for my appointment, it was smooth sailing. Met with Dr. Amaraweera who was super thorough and took her time to ensure my prescription was accurate. She helped me find a contact lens that works with my astigmatism, and her recommendation was spot on. First time ever that a contact lens fit like a glove and my vision was crystal clear with contacts! That's saying something for people who deal with astigmatism and contact lenses. Glasses Sales Rep: I feel bad for not remembering this person's name. They helped me pick out glasses, and they were fantastic. Young white brunette with a cool facial piercing, loved them! We had over a dozen glasses strewn all over the table and had fun finding two that worked really well for my low nose bridge. They also helped me fit two old prescription sunglasses and glasses with my new prescription. They broke down all the costs and how to best use my insurance to cover the most expensive glasses. Patient Portal Rx Follow Up: It's been over a week since my appointment, and I thought I'd be able to easily access my prescriptions for both contacts and glasses online (as was advertised). There was nothing uploaded to my patient portal, no documents at all about my visit. I had to call the front desk and confirm my contacts were working for me. I didn't realize they needed verbal confirmation after the appointment was over. I've never had to confirm my contact Rx after I've left the clinic, so that was new for me, but obviously my bad. They did finally upload my glasses prescription after my request. Small victories. Overall: I think the clinic is worth the visit. Just be prepared for regular human shenanigans. I don't know if all front desk staff are given a training on passive aggressive "bless your heart" kind of attitude, but it is rare to walk into any clinic and be treated like an adult instead of a toddler who's name you just can't pronounce. Dr. Amaraweera was wonderful and so was the glasses sales rep I worked with. WOULD RECOMMEND!“

“I had a fantastic experience at Eye Clinics of Seattle's Ballard location yesterday. The front desk staff was great, both on the phone and in person. Dr. Michalko was wonderful. I really appreciated her patience in reviewing my history, getting my prescription correct and educating me on the causes of dry eyes as well as holistic approaches to improving the condition instead of just tossing me samples of chemical-laden eye drops to mask the symptoms. Morgan the optician was fantastic -- very knowledgeable about the different kinds of prescription lenses as well as what my insurance covered. This practice is a huge relief after the frustrating and stressful experiences I had at the other optical place on Market Street last year. (They're trying to do their best over there but the owner/manager does NOT support them in their efforts and the staff turnover reflects it.) If you live in Ballard and are looking for an optometrist, look no further!“

“I was a customer when I lived in the area, but moved some time ago. I would have remained with them had I not moved. Their service was exemplary. What motivated me at this point to give them a review is the way they handled a credit that I had on my account of which I was unaware. They contacted me recently and mailed me a check for the credit. I was very impressed with their integrity in handling this.“

“Dr. Tran was great. Quick and efficient. The only problem was the counter with all the glasses and the employees there. Didn’t seem like they wanted to be there but I got what I needed and left.“

“I have a very challenging prescription (bifocal, big astigmatism, nearsightedness) and have tried a bunch of optical shops unsuccessfully over the years. I am so happy I found Capitol Hill Vision! They have been so understanding and committed to getting me a pair of glasses that is perfect! I have never had this level of customer service, expertise and willingness to work with me until the glasses are a perfect. (Sarah is so knowledgeable and terrific to work with!) Plus, they’ve got a great selection of frames. Highly recommended!“

“Dr Carey and his staff are wonderful! Came in to get a random growth on the side of my eye removed and Dr Carey took the time to assess all options before going with surgery. The before and after care provided by everyone at this office is superb“

“My previous optometrist closed their office, so I had to find a new vision center. I had my first appointment at Binyon Oak Tree yesterday and it was a pleasurable visit. Dr. Wong was very warm and friendly to converse with. She was thorough with running tests, explained results in a clear manner and answered any questions I had.The office is located in a strip mall, and the waiting area isn't anything glamorous, but don't let that sway you away from scheduling an appointment here. Their selection of frames is somewhat small, so I'll be looking elsewhere, but I also didn't feel pressured. They're also still prioritizing hygienic Covid practices. They sanitize the frames after each person tries them on, and require that you wear a mask. I'm happy that I found a new optometrist that I'll gladly return to each year.“

“Ambience. AService. ASelection Frames. APrice. AI called first ti make sure they took insurance and had a good choice of frames to choose under my insurance plan. Very helpful over the phone. Found on 5th avenue next to overhead Monorail train line. Definitely limited paid street parking but several parking garages close by. Nice soft ambient lighting and comfortable seating area. Service was friendly and helpful. I called first to make sure they took insurance. They do take MolinaWA Apple HealthVPS insurance to cover eye exams and discounted frames and lenses. Found a perfect new pair of glasses after a new prescription from another optometrist. It's about time...25 years later! Can't wait to pick up within 2 weeks!I'm a fan.“

“Everyone at City Eyeworks, from the front desk to the medical assistants, to the doctors, to the folks helping pick out glasses, is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their new office is also kid friendly and very up to date. I've worked with both Dr. Taketa and Dr. Chin, and they both were very knowledgeable and talked me through what was happening with my eyes. They also caught a more serious condition and recommended a specialist in the area that helped me resolve it. I would definitely recommend this to those who like a calm family friendly experience with Dr.'s who are really good at what they do and are happy to answer all of your questions.“

“I really like this eye clinic. I've gone here for several years and they are always friendly and efficient. Dr. Wah is extremely knowledgeable and caring in her evaluations. I have always felt my vision and eye health is in great hands.“

“Great staff--helpful, personable and knowledgeable. Staff went above and beyond to get the glasses frame lens and fit to be perfect, especially during pandemic lab delays. I worked with Erica, a Manager, and Kim mostly. Erica suggested a pair of glasses i would never have tried and ive been receiving compliments ever since. Lab delays and their impact in 2021 are the only reason for 4 star review rather than 5. My eye doctors were great too.“

“Stylish, affordable, convenient and efficient. Love the store design and layout - airy, spacious, easy to browse. Staff was friendly, professional, helpful and efficient. Staff showed me relevant frame options (narrow, low bridge) and I tried on several pairs quickly. Walked out with a new pair, paid with FSA, within 15 minutes of walking in. Beyond impressed with visit 1. Uploaded my prescription online, which was reviewed and processed by Warby within a day. This location does not offer eye exams, but Bellevue Square and Lynnwood do. Frames arrived extremely quickly - shipped within 4 business days! Packaging & unboxing experience was excellent. Stopped in today to get frames adjusted, which took less than 5 minutes - excellent 2nd visit. This honestly blew away my expectations as a first-time Warby customer (was scared of the lines/waiting experience at the University Village location) - kudos to the Cap Hill team for crushing it!“
