A Modern Plantsman was hands-down my favorite shop to frequent when I lived in Pullman. The space is always clean and inviting, so much variety in the plants available and the other cool items they have for sale. They also have some pretty sweet deals! I was part of the lucky bunch to get a Monstera Thai Constellation when that was going on. I love the workshops they have to offer, as well. I still have my mini terrarium I made in 2024! The staff and owner are always so friendly and generous, as well. Please visit and support this shop, you won’t regret it! ?

Kiana was amazing! I'm brand new to the area, have had terrible experiences at barber shops, and when the first review that caught my eye was that she made another trans person feel safe and welcome, I checked out her business insta and knew she was definitely going to be the barber for me.
I have the best cut in my life right now and she was very meticulous and made sure to ask and clarify what I was looking for. She was super comfortable working with my curly hair and knew what to do to make the curls pop and handle the wild cowlicks I had going. Genuinely appreciate her help and expertise and will look forward to coming back regularly!
Having a 1937 era house, with multiple previous kitchen remodels, we knew that we wanted this kitchen remodel to create a timeless space. We worked with a designer, Kristin Stratton, and she created the desired layout of the kitchen and incorporated an arched opening that was reflective of the era of the house. The big challenge was having a fireplace chimney in the middle of the kitchen space that we hoped could be an island and have the arch. One thing that drew us to Renaissance Fine Woodworking is that they would be the contractor for all the construction and not only the kitchen cabinets. In addition, Andrew and his team had experience removing fireplaces and chimney’s - we knew they were the correct contractors for our remodel. After our initial discussion in April, they were able to start the remodel in mid-October. Andrew suggested using beech wood for our cabinets since we had beech wood floors on the main floor and provided prototypes of door styles to meet our needs. He provided input through the design process and the consultation with the engineer about load bearing walls and the ceiling supports. Andrew provided a realistic timeframe for completing the remodel, even with having a few change orders (e.g. new back door), the completed space was done in under 4 months.
Having a cabinet maker who is also a contractor means that the details of an arched opening would look like it was original to the house. For example, Andrew went above and beyond on making sure the new sheet rock transitioned into existing plaster. And when the countertops were being measured, he could discuss how the supports would be attached on the island to ensure a timely installation of the countertops. He added unique storage for cookie sheets, modified a drawer under the induction cooktop (that was going to be blank) to turn it into storage for hot pads/mitts, and created a drawer for paper towels (my favorite!). The end result is better than I could have imagined.

Doug is amazing! He was so patient as I didn't know exactly what I wanted, just knew I wanted layers and helping me add more wave and body to my hair. He taught me how to do "pin curls" and suggested wave-enhancing products which are all working great, I might add! He's genuinely nice and cares about his customers! Thanks Doug!!

She brings more than 20 years of massage experience, including a decade providing massage therapy in a medical setting, and was extremely knowledgeable, skilled and kind. I just finished a deep tissue massage session with Aletha and I legitimately cannot remember a time in which I've ever been this relaxed. Not a joke, like I'm struggling to find a time even going all the way back to my teenage years, that I've felt this good.Phenomenal stretching, right to the breaking point, and yet still an amazingly relaxing environment that left me not wanting to get off the table.Previously I'd had a chair massage with her and found the experience great while also having quite an enjoyable conversation. Can't recommend her enough and I'll be back many more times.

We have lived with an ugly yellow color on our walls since we moved in about 9 years ago. There was no way I could paint the walls myself since we have huge vaulted ceilings in our living room and on our stairs. I really didn't know much about building my custom shower. I then reached out to PMC. I was recommended the kit which I then purchased. When I was installing my shower, I had several questions. I called the line and was pleased with the assistance. It's been several years since I purchased the shower kit from PSC. It is holding up well and looks great. Thanks for the help!

Nick at Omega installed a ceiling fan for us. He came prepared for the job & was very professional, neat and efficient. You could tell he absolutely knew what he was doing and worked methodically and quickly. He also was very friendly and pleasant. The fan is perfect. The charge was very reasonable. We'll be happy to use Omega again for our electrical needs.

I wanted to edit this review because it was simply not enough praise! I have since moved states, so I'm not sure who all is in the office, but my experience with Joann was PHENOMENAL. Seriously, I came in because I have hair growth in PCOS areas and was very self-conscious. She made me feel comfortable at all times, and the process was always quick but very efficient. Since moving, I have tried two electrolysis locations near me that do not even come close. They are twice the price with far inferior service than what I received with Joann. She explained everything well and always did an amazing job. This was life changing for me because of the amount of hair reduction I saw, and I have contemplated doing road trips to the area simply for her service! Thank you so much for everything you did, Joann! Amazing amazing, amazing!!!
The way Sheila executes cleaning is an art. She pays attention to every detail of whatever she is cleaning! My bathroom looks brand new!!! She washed my walls and showed me where the dirt was that has been effecting my allergies. My kitchen is spotless and my windows are shining. My living room has an amazing smell from the cleanliness. My husband and I came to Pullman for WSU Parents Weekend to visit our son. One of the many activities the University had planned for the weekend was at the Airway Hills Golf Center. It was an overcast, windy day but the new 18-hole mini golf course allowed us to forget about the weather and did not disappoint! Each course was creatively designed, with spectacular greens, sandless sandtraps, and amazing landscapes hugging each course. There was a nice, wide sidewalk that made each course accessible. The three of us had an amazing time, combining laughter with a bit of competitiveness. The owners were friendly and fun, too! Thank you for a great time! We will be back!
I think I was the most anxious first time mom in the world, but Dr Shields is truly an angel always being so patient and answering all our questions, and helping us navigate caring for our baby! We are so grateful for her and the Palouse Peds team for always getting us in and caring for our baby and family!

What a great source for eye glasses! I love the price options, but more important is that the frames fit my face without squishing my head, hurting my ears, or digging in on my (big) nose. Gavan and Teresa have been great about adjustments. They work closely with Dr. Sulzer who is also a meticulous doctor. I'm thankful to have their skill and experience here in Pullman!
I had a great experience here. Went in for a gel pedicure and was immediately seated and had someone available to work on me right away. They took their time with the pedicure and the gel came out nice!
The only suggestion I have is to add some additional decor to the plain white walls where the customers face while getting their nails done and a little bit of music going in the background. It was incredibly quiet in there which I actually didn’t notice until about 30 minutes in so it can be very nice for some and also very plain in ambiance decor compared to other salons I have been too which just makes it feel a bit less comforting.
Other than that, the staff was nice and attentive and the price was reasonable.
Also it is cash only with an ATM on site.
Best experience I've ever had with peircing. I went in and got 3 peircings on my ear. All of which were done quickly and looked so good! One of them swelled more than expected. I came back 6 days after the initial peircing and they changed the jewlery to a longer bar and were so friendly about it. Could not recommend a place more than this one!
Nail art spa was so welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door! The guy who did my nails was so welcoming, he did a really good job with the shape and the overall handling of my nails. The entire staff is kind and I will definitely be going back!

Daylan showed up with a fantastic attitude willing to clean out an old furnace. He said he just cares about customers and was eager to get the job done right. When it's time for a new system PH&E is who I'll call.
I'm disabled, so even though I have a membership through my insurance they treat me just like everyone else. Which is such a breath of fresh air. Finally a gym that treats everyone like they are the most important. I got black card membership and due to my physical limitations I can only use their massage chairs and their hydro chairs.
But they don't care, they are so kind and nice here it really makes me happy when I visit. I have to bring my caregivers with me and they even let them go with me when I go to use the massage chairs. I understand that they don't have to let them into this part of the club as my black card membership only gives me access. But they allow them in with me which is so kind and considerate. I usually go late at night so that there is usually only a few people in there. This way I try not to disturb people and it lets me sign up for longer sessions in the massage chairs.
So thank you for being so kind to me. This is the only gym I have ever been to that makes me feel welcomed and they even allow my service dog to be with me. Which I know they have to but they never make me feel like I didn't belong. Thank you for being such an awesome place
Billy at Hilliards is awesome! I found out my water heater was leaking yesterday. I called them this morning and they were headed to my house within an hour to fix the water heater. I found out I needed a new water heater, which they immediately ordered. While Billy was there he serviced my gas heater HVAC. He found a dead bird in the heater. I am so glad I called these guys. Everyone else couldn't even take a look for several weeks even though it was an emergency. I will only use Hilliard's in the future. I highly recommend them.
