“I’ve been going to Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology since 2019, and this clinic has helped guide me through some very significant health issues, including breast cancer and diabetes.

From the beginning, I’ve felt that my concerns and needs were heard clearly and taken seriously. The front desk staff are welcoming, whether in person or over the phone. When they’re busy, they thank me for my patience, and whenever I leave a message, I receive a call back in a timely manner. Also, the medical assistants are professional and very personable.

I feel fortunate to have found Kirstin Curtis ARNP and the rest of the practitioners at this practice. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and take the time to understand me and my situation.

On more than one occasion, when my insurance company didn’t approve something Kirsten recommended, she found a workaround so I could still receive the necessary diagnostic testing, treatment, and care. I can’t emphasize enough what a relief it is to have this level of support. I’m truly grateful for the attention and dedication I’ve experienced over the years.“

“After conservative treatment failed to help my spinal cord compression, I saw Dr Ha. I'm an experienced acute care nurse with an insider's view of the local healthcare system. I could easily have gone to Seattle for neurosurgery, but was completely comfortable putting myself in Dr Ha's care. From the first appointment with him I knew that I was in excellent hands. His thorough physical exam and detailed review of my imaging were impressive enough, but he managed to discuss the clinical information with a great deal of humanity and genuine concern for my welfare. Fast forward to surgery, which I knew was needed but was still anxious about. The nurses & other staff in the surgery center were wonderful; again, I knew that I was in good hands and felt extremely well cared for. My pre-op call was extremely informative, the staff on the day of surgery had obviously read my chart and knew what I needed, and my wife was welcomed as an important part of my care team. The 3-1/2 hour surgery went smoothly, as did my 2 hours in the recovery room. Later, at home, my wife had very clearly been thoroughly instructed by the post-op nurse, and knew exactly what care I needed. I'm now a month out from surgery and am absolutely delighted with how it all went. I work with an amazing team of world-class caregivers at the hospital, but I couldn't have been in better hands than the wonderful team at the spinal surgery center.“

“This business has some excellent doctors. They genuinely care for their patients. I began coming here late 2020. My son's doctor that helped with his birth works at this location. They accepted my business, got me in and helped me identify some major medical issues. They are busy so book your appointments as needed and expect not to be able to be too chatty during your appointments. If you need specific help, get referrals to specialists. One of the best offices I've visited for doctors.“

“I was very surprised to see all the negative reviews for St. Joe's hospital. I have had a hip replacement, and a double bypass operation on my heart . Later I needed a stent for a blocked coronary artery. These heart operations saved my life each time. I was extremely impressed with the skill and compassion of the doctors and the nurses. I went in via the ER department and they took care of me quickly and professionally. I feel fortunate to have such a great hospital in our town.“
