The best dog boutique store I’ve ever been to. My friend and I walked in and saw the cutest sweaters and dog snoods we’d ever seen. Honestly, I even appreciated the one small misspelling on her website—it reassured me that her content was genuine and not overly polished or AI-generated.
We both arrived on time, and she was laid back, friendly, and easy to talk to. We spent time discussing what was going on with my body before the session, which I really valued. I happened to be wearing my usual workout/travel clothes, which worked out perfectly because the session turned into more of a Thai-style massage, incorporating full-body stretching from head to toe.
I originally came in for neck and shoulder pain, but she intuitively recognized that my hips needed significant attention—especially considering my weak muscles and core from an umbilical hernia I had for years. She truly worked from the ground up, helping unlock my body in a way that felt both intentional and effective.
She generously extended my session well beyond the scheduled time without any additional charge, which I deeply appreciated. I left feeling noticeably improved—greater mobility, better range of motion in my gait, and significantly reduced neck pain.
The only thing I’d note: as an LMT, I know how easy it is to lose track of time during a great session—and while I was grateful for the extra work, I did end up rushing to catch a ferry and flight. So if you’re booking with Equanimity, I highly recommend giving yourself plenty of buffer time afterward.
Overall, a truly skilled and intuitive therapist. I would absolutely recommend scheduling a session—and allowing yourself the time to fully enjoy it.

After several failed color attempts with hairstylists from Kitsap County to Seattle I got so lucky in finding Kelli. First a consultation for her to look at my present hair situation. She was very patient in letting me explain how I was hoping the color would be and then she went on to discuss her thoughts and how she could best address my problems.

Melissa TOTALLY KILLED IT! My hair was so many different colors at the start (brown, red, pink, redish-brown) it was a total disaster. I had a goal in mind for my hair to become all one color- a sort of reddish brown which Melissa did with such talented work! She was such an angel to talk with and made me feel so comfortable during the entire experience. I will DEFINITELY be going back to her whenever I’m on the island again.

Quaint little shop in downtown. Parking was easy on a wet and windy Friday morning. I liked all the little details in the shop and the chairs were comfy. Mike was just finishing up with another gentleman, though he said he'd get to me shortly. When I sat down, he was very courteous and professional, got me all set and then asked how I needed my hair cut. I told him I needed short on the sides and be gentle on top because I'm thinning. He asked if I had an appointment, because he does those in the morning and walk ins in the afternoon and I was very apologetic, I didn't know, and he said not a problem, I'm sure we'll get you taken care of before the next appointment arrives. We spent the time talking about my corvette and his brother's hot rods and just car talk in general. He was done before I knew it and it looked great. When I tipped him for being so understanding and so professional, he looked me in the eye and shook my hand and asked me my name. Mike's a great guy and gives a great haircut and I'll make the drive back to the island the next time I need to get "street legal." Keep up the great work. Thanks.

I brought in my 3 1/2 year old grandson, and Erika was amazing. Not only did my grandson get a great cut, but Erika was so skilled at working with him. I also use Erika myself, and she’s been great, but I was truly impressed with how well she took care of my grandson.
Wonderful service but be prepared that they do not use automated tools. All filing and shortening and smoothing after a fill are done by hand an emory board. I not had a manicure this way in too many years to count. The manicure itself was ok. Doable.
This is my new go-to place on the island for getting my nails done! Barry and Lina are so pleasant and kind, and service was great (better than other more popular salons I’ve gone to in Poulsbo). The salon was clean and fresh, and getting to watch HGTV while getting my nails done was a real treat (busy mom here who never gets a moment to sit down!)
I had a wonderful experience getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Ash, She was incredibly attentive and precise, and my brows turned out exactly as I had hoped. I have been a customer of Island Renew Day Spa for a while and each experience has been perfect. The service that I get is massage and Amanda is my massage therapist. She is amazing, her personality is kind and professional. Her skills with massage are incredible and I am in less pain because of her abilities. The interactions with the front staff is also amazing. They greet me with a warm and friendly smile, and they are very helpful when I need to pay and book a new appointment. Everyone needs to keep up the great work.

The PMWF Team was phenomenal to work with for our project. We took a wall down in our house and needed to match the hardwoods on either side (not small feat).
Casey, Tico, Chris and the rest of the team did an exceptional job, especially with the uniqueness of our project (the floors were slightly different levels between the two rooms).
Additionally, the team was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, which I highly value. Price was very reasonable for the job and aligned with our expectations. Rarely do you get a bid that matches what you actually think the job would cost. The PMWF Team are realistic and price accordingly.
Lastly, they came out for a quality check a few days after completion and made sure we were happy with the results. Never experienced that level of care before.
