When she first met him, she stated that our dog might be in pain because of the way he was sitting. She also gave helpful strategies to use when we notice that he is uncomfortable or anxious, so that aggressive behaviors can be avoided. She knows her stuff!

“I just signed my high energy lab puppy up for day camp. Anthony and Michael have been nothing less than stellar. The interview process is very thorough to ensure your pets safety but also very well organized and smooth. The facilities are very nice, clean, secure, and your pet is visible via a live stream camera feed at anytime via their own app. So far so amazing at camp bow wow. My pup looooves camp bow wow, and he's exhausted after each stay. Great socialization and play! Thankful for an establishment such as this in the neighborhood!“

Therefore, I have been going to cheap shot clinics for his needs. This is the best one that I've been to. It's seamless. You show up, check in on your phone and even if you don't have a car, they have a waiting room for you to sit in. You don't have to just stand in the aisles of a store in a long line. They come out, talk to you and give your pet his/her shots/deworming treatments. Then, you get checked out and go on your way. It's great. Prices are fair. This is the cat that went...his name is Perseus and he is the friendliest feral I have ever met.“

“Having our two year old chocolate lab at Ships corner has made such a difference in his behavior. He is more relaxed, listens better, is always so happy go there and happy when he gets home. As he has progressed there he has played with almost every dog. It's made him more calm and more comfortable around other dogs and small children. “We were vacationing in VA Beach and experienced an emergency with our dog. Our dog was promptly scheduled for a visit by the staff and evaluated by Dr. Johnson within 2 hours of receiving our call.

After evaluation, we were provided with a thorough explanation of his findings along with a detailed cost estimate for the treatment plan. As this was our dog's first visit to this vet, the treatment plan included taking necessary precautions (drawing blood, physical examination, etc.) to make sure our pet would not have adverse reactions to sedation. He reviewed the treatment plan and associated risks with us, spent ample time addressing all of our concerns and provided a detailed account of the procedure afterward. The treatment plan was reasonable and did not include anything egregious or unnecessary - very noteworthy since we were from out of town and experiencing an emergency with our pet.

The staff is excellent as well - very professional, compassionate and dedicated. In addition to recognizing the need for immediate care, the staff provided answers to all of our follow up questions the day of the procedure and during the routine "follow up" call the next day. It was very comforting to know that our pet was in good hands throughout the entire process.“
