I moved here 6 months ago and no clue where to go for a haircut. Luckily the barber shop is in walking distance. I was Leery about going in. It was a great decision . I was greeted as soon as I walked in. And to my surprise I only waited like 10 minutes. I was lucky enough to get Dave. The hair cut was detailed and perfect. He even did a few Rich ups. And then a little bit of surprise he massaged my neck and shoulders. Then a hot towel. I didn’t want it to end. The price is reasonable and when I left I was so relaxed. Highly recommended.

I’ve never been great at curling my own hair and usually lose patience halfway through and give up completely. So for my birthday dinner with the girls, I decided to book a dry styling appointment beforehand and it was 100% worth it. I’m pretty sure I was one of Caroline’s last clients of the evening, yet she still showed up at 100%. She was kind and engaging, asked thoughtful questions about the look I was going for, offered great options, and was incredibly accommodating. I left feeling confident, put together, and so happy I treated myself. I’ll definitely be returning even if it’s just to treat myself again ✨

I have gotten a haircut twice now from Gwen. I am extremely happy. I have thin hair, which has made it hard for me to get a good haircut in the past. Gwen was able to layer it the way I wanted, making it look voluminous and nice. She does not rush, but rather ensures I get a good haircut and that I'm happy with it. She listens to what I want. She's also very friendly and nice. I'm so happy I found Gwen. My long search for a great hairstylist is over. She is the only person I will go to for my haircuts from now on. Had a great experience at Bubbles in Reston; Maryam did such a great job with my cut and color, but what stood out even more is how easy and fun she is to talk to. Our conversation flowed the entire appointment.
Wow!! What a wonderful Saloon to have a hair cut!!! It is pleasant , classy and cozy. As you enter the store you are greeted by a pleasant receptionist who warmly welcomes you and goes over the details of your appointment and an offer of a drink or a glass of wine . The hair dresser arrives later( Jonathan) welcoming me and leading me to his station . Jonathan is wonderful: he is professional, artistic and skilled. He listened to my instructions on how to style my hair and proceeded as requested. Then I was taken for a shampooed wash.. the water was warm and the shampoo was organic and not tested on animals. A warm towel was applied to my face , then I was led back to the chair where final touches were made as well as waxing my ears and trimming my eyebrows.the complete process lasted for over half an hour and at no point did I feel the hairdresser was in a rush to finish. Jonathan has the instincts of an artist , commitment to details and he is a natural to pleasing .

This nail salon has merged I guess with a nearby salon Glossary Nails in north point village reston. I finally went and the salon is muchhhhhh nicer than the original great falls location. Even though it's an 8 min further drive I'd say it's def worth it.

I refuse to go elsewhere for my nails. Shape of Nails salon has magicians as techs bc nothing has ever stayed on my nails like their hard gel application. I always leave smiling at how great my nails turn out. Some people scoff at the price—when it’s broken down, it’s the price of grande latte a day for 28 days. The quality of the work is outstanding and I’m all about supporting a local small business ?

I've been seeing Rhonda for 13 years at this Jouvence Aveda location. The front desk has always been accommodating and helpful, offering product knowledge, greeting me by asking if I'd like tea or water and taking my coat if I had one with me. And I've had many spa services with Rhonda who has always been wonderful. I've had my hair done twice here (just a style), once with a new stylist, once with an experienced stylist. Wish I remembered their names, but both experiences were great and included the full experience (best hair wash - so relaxing).
9.2.25 update: Still seeing Rhonda! This is the 3rd location, and still can report the service is always impeccable from walking in to checking out. The new location is beautiful and inviting, as well.

One piece of advice I’d give to anyone starting out is this: remember why you’re there. School is a place for learning and growing. If you stay focused on your education, you’ll do amazing. Keep your goals in mind, work hard, and trust the process! You will be more than ready to take the state board exams when you are finished.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sebastian for many years. He has always explained procedures to me and answered questions. Several years ago, he had do do a Mohr's surgery on my nose. It turned out to be more involved than originally thought and had to be done in 2 stages. Dr. Sebastian called in a plastic surgeon to look at the surgery site and got me the help needed for repair. Since that time he has done several biopsies on my body and face. I appreciate all that he has done for me.
My only complaint about the practice is wait time in the waiting room. I have had several long waits and got no explanation for them. sometimes it seems that the receptionists are too busy on their phones to even notice the patients sitting or standing right in front of them.
Every tech I’ve seen here is incredible! As pain free of an experience as possible, and all the ladies are so sweet!

We hired structural repair and renovations to replace some footings on an addition to our house. We selected them from five contractors based on the price (middle of the pack) and the warranty on the work (best of the bunch). They started by drawing up detailed plans that included some additional suggestions for shoring up the structure that would be compliant with modern code requirements. Once we authorized the work they started promptly. The work crews were polite and communicative. My primary contact with the company was Pat, who was also communicative and answered all my questions or put me in touch with the engineers who could. The workers found some old termite damage necessitating additional repairs and the quote to fix it was very reasonable. All in all the work appears solid and this was about an easy experience as major repairs to a home can be. Thank you!

Pal Family Dentistry is one of the best offices I’ve been to! I have dental anxiety and was dreading getting a crown after my root canal. I’ve had back pain for years and was treated by a spine specialist who helped my condition, including spinal steroid shots. After having a severe pain flare and not being able to get an appointment with my specialist for 3 months, someone recommended going to a chiropractor. I was recommended Dr. Kuhlik. Was a revelation! After a thorough examination, including X-Rays Dr. Kuhlik diagnosed a new condition for me and recommended a course of therapy. The therapy really helped my back condition. After several weeks of therapy my condition improved by at least 80%. Continued therapy has basically made me pain free, for the 1st time in years! Dr. Kuhlik and his staff are all very friendly, personable, and professional. I cannot recommend Dr. Kuhlik highly enough, if you need help with your back
Dr. Bruno gets it! His wife is a flight attendant as am I! I was visiting also based in VA suffering from work injury in low back could not stand up straight and chronic migraines. I came to Melissa for hip pain stopping me from running, but quickly found she offered more services than just helping alleviate my hip pain. I had been struggling with digestive issues for years as well and the hip pain was related to some of my abdominal pain.

Teachers are excellent and friendly.The director is wonderful, works hard to make the studio a great place and ensures every student is well taken care.

I went to Kim after spending some time trying to find a quality massage therapist with reasonable prices… I went after having had a week long migraine and tension from my calves to my neck and I can honestly say I walked out without a migraine. She made me feel comfortable right away and really listened to where I needed to focus on. She was magical and I will be going back!
When I started vocal training 5 years ago, my vocal coach insisted I go get a massage to loosen up the tension in my neck and throat. I had never received a massage before, and was hesitant to oblige. (In the interest of disclosure, she also insisted I go to yoga, and I've been stubbornly holding out on that piece of advice for 5 years.) I had been to approximately 10 massage therapists across Northern Virginia before finding Lisa Hauer. It was the first time I had received a massage that I (1) slept like a baby that night and (2) didn't feel bruised or sore the following day. I've been going to her ever since. Each massage is different, depending on my body's needs. I remember I was going through a particularly stressful time in my life and had a temporary bout of TMJ (or teeth grinding in the night). Before I had the chance to even mention it, she recognized the problem in my jaw, and spent the remaining HOUR and 20 minutes focused on easing the tension (just in my jaw)!
We had invited Ms. Jeanie to our school for giving teachers a massage on teacher's appreciation week. She was amazing and everyone was so relaxed. Thank you.

Bri and team are by far the best in the area. I do a 90 min deep tissue weekly. It's the highlight of my week. I can't recommend them more highly!
Won't visit another massage therapist in NoVa - have been going to YuYu for years (off and on) - her general massage is great, but she has done amazing things to help me in recovery from neck and shoulder pain/issues!
Omid did a fantastic job working with the massage on my shoulder and other muscle aches.
I was greeted at the front desk by the receptionist, and she was extremely polite and knew exactly who I was. She offered me a beverage and made sure that all of my forms were signed. Once I got into the facial room, Zoe asked me what my concerns were about my face. We discussed it in great length then I got ready for her to start the facial. She continued to complement my skin, but very gently told me that I had some dry skin and told me how to fix it. We walked through my whole entire skin routine day and night, and she acknowledged that I was doing everything that I was supposed to. Zoe was absolutely amazing, and throughout the facial, she asked if I was still doing OK. I will most definitely continue to get facials and it will be with Zoe.
