“In spite of my crazy indecision on the color of my garage floor, Eric could not have been more patient and kind during this entire process. I was not the easiest of customers (my fault, not his) but he kept a great sense of humor and reassured me when I needed it. When it was finally done, I could not have been happier with the floor-it was absolutely beautiful! I've hired many contractors in my life, but I do not think I've met a better one. He was also honest from the beginning--he told me I needed to first repour my garage floor when other companies said they could patch it. I later found out that was not a good option. If you are truly interested in getting the best work done at a reasonable price, please do NOT look at other companies. Eric and his guys are the very best, most professional and kindest in the business.

“I meant to post this a few months ago, sorry it has taken me so long. In August, 2x4 Construction came to my house to install a sliding glass door. Before they came I thought the price was a little high, but they were recommended so I decided to pay a little more. It was well worth it! My original door wasn't plumb and Junior and John had to do a LOT of work to get my door in correctly. They were there all day on one of the hottest days of the year. Then, in December I noticed that the caulking around the door had come apart. I called Gary and he was over within the week and fixed it at no cost. Of course I gave him some money for his time and work. All three men were wonderful to work with.“

When we purchased our home, we knew there were several projects of varying degree that we wanted to do to really make it ours. And so our search for a contractor began. James Lambert came highly recommended in our community group and now we know why! From the first meeting with James, we knew he was our guy. Also, the crews who worked in our home were incredibly friendly, polite and felt like family by the end of the project. In the end, our finished basement doubled the size of our home and provided exactly the spaces we were looking for. After seeing what was possible with James Lambert and the team... our list of home dreams and projects has grown! We will definitely be using them again!“

“We had a fantastic experience with Ileana and Jose from Virginia Top Floors installing a new wood staircase. Ileana was accessible, responsive, and patiently worked with us on the design. Our staircase was old and we wanted something that would tie in the older design of our house with something more modern. Ileana had plenty of examples for us to look at, ideas on how to structure the new stairs, and was very open to our thoughts as well. Her expertise in stair design and construction really put us at ease. Ileana was also very transparent in cost with a line-by-line bill of materials with no hidden fees (including a discount for Veterans!). Since we request changes and modifications as the project went along, cost transparency and cost reasonableness were extremely important to us. Once the project started, we met Jose. Jose was super friendly and an excellent communicator, he patiently answered all of our questions, his work is professional, he stuck to the promised timeline, and made sure that even during the construction process, we could still use the stairs (he kept his workspace incredibly clean). Jose also made friends with our unfriendly cat (Jogja) who doesn’t like anyone. Jogja (who was at end of life and has since died) would sit by Jose’s side all day while he worked on the stairs.Ileana and Jose were a pleasure to work with and made our experience incredibly satisfying. They are honest people and work hard to make the customer experience their primary objective. When it’s time to have our floors redone, we will certainly contact Virginia Top Floors.“

Then I worked with Saeed to schedule and install, which was done much quicker than expected! We will definitely contact them in the future. Floors are a near perfect match in my older home.“
