“Comfort Source has serviced the HVAC system in the building where I operate my law practice for many years. Recently, the aging AC system (which they have nursed along for years) finally failed after a long and prodigious life. We hired Comfort Source to replace the entire HVAC system including updating the airflow/venting and replacing thermostats (for furnace and A/C). Their technicians are always prompt, courteous and very efficient. They provided a very reasonable quote that was very competitive with all the contractors who were asked to provide pricing then they did the work quickly and expertly with no disruption to our ability to operate our business. During the short period that we were without central A/C they generously provided and installed window units until they could acquire all the necessary replacement equipment. The did the work quickly and left the premises very tidy and fully operational. Strongly recommend these folks for any of your plumbing, heating, cooling needs!“

“Working with Monticello Air was a good experience. All the technicians were professional and friendly. (Hate that I can’t remember their names) Don’t want to leave Kelly out for helping set up dates and times. (She answered whenever I called) Thanks Monticello Air for coming to give me appraisal on getting new units. From installing even mounting the remotes, and showing me how everything worked. Also removed a very old unit and clean up was awesome!! I have no complaints with the service they provided and I’m glad I called them.“

“Scheduling was easy. The Tech arrived on time. He was meticulous and knowledgeable. He figured out where the A- Coil leak was. He then ordered the replacement coil and I am waiting for the repair. The tech was patient and explained the process well. I have used Albemarle Heating in the past a d they are reliable.9“

“Over all very good. On time, professional, polite.

I was disappointed that as my HVAC was low on freon as I predicted, the invoice had no details… just service call, freon added, stop leak added… and total bill to pay…so I have zero knowledge of how much freon was added to make a decision as to leak rate other than tech said it was minor, same with stop leak, no cost listed …

And without knowing amount of freon replaced not sure I should have asked for the leak stop… <$700 was high for a slight freon leak service call as I know the leak sealer is less than $50 to buy… and I do not have the old freon that's hyper expensive.

So next service call, will ask lot of questions upfront and at $700… and will likely shop it some.

“We recently bought a 12 year-old house and decided to hire DuctMedic to clean the air vents and also the dryer vent. When they arrived today, Jake, Calvin, and Max were so polite and got to work right away. I left and came back three hours later as they were finishing up. Yes, all our vents were dirty--the before and after photos were shocking! A problem arose however when the guys went to turn the breaker back on at the unit in the crawl space. The air simply would not turn back on. This was alarming, as we are in the midst of a major heat wave. It wasn't DuctMedic's fault, but they were so apologetic and sprung into action and said they would pay to fix the issue. The guys called another DuctMedic team that was in the neighborhood, and these two guys saved the day. I didn't get their names, but they rearranged their afternoon schedule so they could troubleshoot and solve the problem. It turned out to be the breaker inside the unit, which decided to go bad at a most inopportune time! After exploring options, they found a solution that got the system back on without having to call in an HVAC company (no one could come out today on such short notice). I want to thank these two gentlemen for how patient, kind, and resourceful they were today. They went above and beyond. Thank you!! This is a company that cares deeply about their customers and truly works as a team. Very impressed all the way around!“

“Blue Ridge installed a new ductless HVAC system in my home last May 2021. They were my third estimate, and offered a great price which was installed within the month. I love the system. Its quiet, matches my decor, and is cheaper to run than the window AC units I had, and the wood and space heaters I used in the winter. I'm also appreciative of them because they installed a chimney liner and pipe along with new filter and shut off valve so I could run my Kuma oil stove for heat during power outages. I had gotten that stove brand new to replace an old one in 2014 and couldn't find anyone willing to hook it up for me so it sit for 8 years. One man didn't even know what it was. So now I can settle into old age and just hit a switch for heat and air. I loved everyone and everything at BRS from the ladies in the office, the office decor, the prices, the service, the promptness, the gents who installed everything, and their sales manager Randy. He and they made me feel special. Am also always impressed by anyone willing to go under my house into a low tight dark crawl space.
