We were on vacation in Virginia and passing through Chantilly. I decided to stop by the shop to check out the products. To my surprise, it was owner’s home but she graciously invited me over and showed me all her products. It was difficult to make a decision about what to buy as everything smelled so good. But I purchased 4 soap bars and a lotion bar. When I brought it home, I opened the boxes and it all smells even more intensely and divine. Very happy with the purchases. I went in for a lash lift today with Thalia. What I love is I did not have to say anything or make any specific requests and my lashes came out exactly how I wanted. I’ve always preferred to do lash lifts because it still allows me to use mascara. I love that Thalia’s technique left my lashes looking natural but more revived. They weren’t lifted to the point where they’re too straight to use mascara. Additionally, Thalia’s approach and warm presence made the experience so relaxed. I will 100% be returning to see Thalia at Suraya Beauty Lounge!

They met us to go look through granite countertop options together, made frequent visits out to the house to check up on everything, and were very helpful end-to-end. I wish I knew about this place earlier! All around great experience from the friendly staff, to the minty scalp treatment when they wash your hair, to the highly skilled stylists. It was clear that Stella had experience working with thick asian hair, and she took her time to make sure I achieved the look I wanted (my haircut turned out very similar to the pictures I showed her!). The price of the cut was very reasonable; definitely worth the value over so many overpriced salons these days. They’ve got a return client in me!
I saw Kaitlyn and let’s just say she is the absolute best!! This has by far been the best experience I have ever had at a hair salon and I’m not even from this state! She actively listened to my concerns about my hair and taught me a lot in a way that I could understand. I have never had my hair feel this good or look this good ever. The only place I go to get my haircut since I moved to northern VA in 2018. Even after I moved to Tyson’s, would rather make the drive there than go to someone closer. Can only speak for men’s cute but the owner is super friendly and super quick (can only speak for men’s cuts). Someone said it before me but it feels like you’re going to your aunts place to get your haircut.

I had low expectations coming here given the mixed reviews and haircut is only $20 if you pay in cash but I was pleasantly surprised. Lilly was very methodical when cutting my hair, checking the hair in the mirror to make sure it looks perfect often. I asked to keep long on top and 3-2-1 fade and she delivered, even double checking how long i want to keep it before cutting the top. I'm not always satisfied with my haircut but this time i very much was and will definitely be coming back next time when I'm in the area and I need a haircut

I got a lash lift yesterday for the first time. Grace explained exactly how the process works and made me feel very comfortable throughout my appointment. She is very professional and kind. She is also very honest and even told me that it would be better for me to only get a lash lift instead of a lift and tint because I have darker hair. I will definitely be back. King Spa is amazing relaxing atmosphere with several steam rooms, heat pools with jets, hot tubs, massage rooms, cool room, places to unwind great food great atmosphere. The staff is amazing. I will definitely will be back again and again! We are planning our trip for November to come back with more ladies.
My only concern is people using cell phones in the hot rooms when it’s clearly marked no phones. I wish the staff would do a checkpoint to ensure you’re not using your phones inside the hot rooms. It’s mark for a reason.

We recently used Viva Electric Contractors to install a chandelier in our family room. When I made the call to ask if they are able to do the job, Chris came out himself to look at the chandelier and where it will be installed. After assessment of project he give me options to choose which both seemed very fair compare to other companies we asked around. First of all he didn't charge for the estimate regardless if I hire them or not, then he scheduled the project considering our availability. Richard and Chris took their time to make sure everything is safe, installed the chandelier and cleaned after themselves before leaving. He gave us a very fair price and did an excellent job. EL Kellogg did the original electrical work when our home was built. After we closed had them install a number of ceiling fans. Owner, Gregg, helped us get our generator replaced by Generac. Our generator was catching fire and running dangerous hot. Pullin Electric did the install and tried for 28 month to fix a wide range of issues but was never able to. Gregg tried to fix but the issues were beyond repair. He worked with us to convince Generac to replace the generator. Generac approved the replacement. New generator was installed and we are very happy. Gregg and his crew are very knowledgable and professional.

I had my carpet and several pieces of furniture steam cleaned by Lucho / Lutronc Steam Cleaning and WOW. Prices were incredibly reasonable, he was prompt (early!), communicative, fast, and did an AMAZING job. I've used the well-known chain many times and the service has been spotty - literally and figuratively. Lucho got out stains that that they have never even made smaller or lighter. We recently had a renovation done in our kitchen and some painting in our dining room and so we had lots and lots of dust absolutely everywhere in our house. They did an excellent job and getting absolutely everything and it looks spic and span.

We were in the area and randomly walked into the Custom Floor & Design store in Chantilly, where we were warmly greeted by Albert Kim. We initially told him we were “just looking,” but after seeing the wide range of flooring options — carpet, hardwood, vinyl planks, and more — we were impressed by the variety and quality. Albert patiently walked us through everything, explaining the differences between products in detail and helping us understand what would work best for our home.
We were specifically looking for carpet for the upstairs bedrooms and vinyl planks for the basement (especially with our dogs in mind). Albert gave excellent suggestions and offered us a very fair price on everything. He then scheduled a time for measurements, came out promptly, and took the time to measure everything accurately. He explained what would work best in each area, making sure every detail was planned correctly before the installation.
The installation was scheduled quickly, and both crews were fantastic. The vinyl plank crew, led by Mr. Lee, and the carpet crew, led by Mr. Louis, were professional, respectful, and friendly throughout the process. I made some last-minute changes to the plank layout, and Mr. Lee accommodated them without hesitation.
The day before installation, Albert personally called to confirm everything and showed up on-site during installation to check in and make sure things were going smoothly. He took the time to walk me through the progress, ensured I was completely satisfied, and asked if there was anything more he could do.
The installation was completed in just one day, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Albert also provided all the warranty information and explained how everything works in case any issues arise in the future.

Having suffered PTSD from some VERY BAD (nightmare) construction and remodeling experiences we were hesitant. However, based off a neighbor’s referral we rolled the dice and met with the Rendon team. The initial meetings definitely provided a sense of a genuine expertise in the trade, and a care for our needs and our concerns (with a significant understanding of the extra TLC that would be needed based off the scars left from our previous experiences). Having a consistent team that you can easily communicate with, that not only listens, but actually hears you, works to find root causes of issues and not just a quick cosmetic fix, makes sure to communicate promptly throughout the project, and warranties their work……like winning the lotto. WOW! Jackpot!

In 2024, Moss B&D built an addition of about 680 ft2 over our garage and Family Room. They worked with us to design the addition, with attention to fixtures and livability issues with lots of suggestions and a 3D house model for comparison. The addition was a large bedroom with vaulted ceiling, wood floors, picture window with overhead accent window, two walk-in closets, a small office/nursery room, a large bathroom with toilet, walk-in shower, air jacuzzi tub, and counter with 2 nice sinks. This required a supporting beam above the garage, and a number of other fixes to the family room to comply with Fairfax code. The addition has a separate HVAC system which allows better than one degree F control for the bedroom.
Electrical contractors were extremely helpful, adding a sub-panel for the addition, as well as many suggestions for convenience, etc.; including extra outlets for the garage (not all in the contract) and suggestions for lighting (indirect and direct for the vaulted ceiling bedroom).
My spouse LOVES the bedroom and closets (we had the walk-in closets fitted with a high-end Elfa system so we don't need chest of drawers or dressers- technically a separate job from this; but included in the design stage)- But her love for the bathroom is closer to ecstatic. A year later she continues to tell me she loves the bathroom at least once a week. It's a major win.
As with ANY large project there were touchups and minor corrections (such as added insulation on pipes in a hidden crawlspace) needed after the job was completed (even a couple we didn't see for as long as a 10-11 months). There were a few 'home fixes on the contract that were in the agreement; but not part of the addition, such as a new whole house water shutoff, quarter turn valve that they needed to be reminded of. However, Moss expedited every one of those without complaint or delay.
We've had bathrooms renovated and added, kitchens renovated and walls moved before in other homes. This was by FAR the best experience we've had with any construction. We will use them again.
The cost was in line with what we expected (we expected about $5-600/sq ft in Falls Church VA; we feel we did very well (about $425/ sq ft!) on this project, since we included significant HVAC plumbing, electrical and other costs.
All the workers were courteous, fairly on time with estimated arrival times, etc. The only delay was due to items that were shipped incorrectly; and none of the delays (again, we expect some) were delivery issues with vendors we specified; and none exceeded 2- weeks. Shockingly, for me, they finished only 2 weeks later than the estimated completion date. And that was only some minor issues that did not affect our use of the space.
Bill and his team did a fantastic job with our patio! It was a tough project, given the specifications: a large stamped concrete patio in the middle of summer. Bill showed us the options, gave suggestions, accommodated our requests, detailed the steps involved and kept us updated along the process. He also took care of a couple of other things that were not part of the original contract. Lastly, from what we have shopped around, the price is also reasonable.Definitely recommend working with them and will surely call them for future projects!Service: Patio construction
Recently we needed a large linen closet to match our vanity Merillat oak cabinets in our primary bathroom. We first worked with salesperson Wendy. She was extremely knowledgeable about the product line and couldn’t find exactly what we wanted but made a few alternative suggestions and promised to contact the factory and get back to us quickly. Within a day she contacted us and was able get the factory to make exactly what we needed at a very reasonable price, with a 3 week turnaround. We were impressed. All the contacts for the purchase and delivery were handled by Autumn the office manager. Here communications by email were exceptional. Very happy with our new kitchen! John and Kim were excellent with walking us through the whole project, providing suggestions and guidance to help us make informed decisions and get the best result. They met us to go look through granite countertop options together, made frequent visits out to the house to check up on everything, and were very helpful end-to-end. The crew arrived on time and finished all work and cleanup in less than 2 hours. They trimmed 5 trees in the front, sides and back of our home. Very professional and polite workers. I will hire them again in a few years when my trees need more work.

Cleaned up all the branches/brush so you would not have even known they had been here, except the trees look great!

I am a retired school teacher and administrator and I have been going to this family practice for 12 years and have never had a complaint. Dr. Urquiaga is the best! He is caring and explains everything very thoroughly. His office staff includes his wife and his son and they are both kind and patient when scheduling and answering any questions about billing. Even though I moved about 40 minutes away, it is definitely worth keeping this practice.

Dr George does a great job! I was able to get an appointment immediately and he helped resolve my issues with a pinched nerve. He’s super friendly and remembers personal details, always asking about my family. It’s great to feel like an actual person and not just another patient.
Dr. Masood and his staff are great and very helpful. This is our preferred vet and will continue to bring our dog to him as long as possible.
Update 2024: the price has increased crazily, like a fecal test or a wellness visit took me $90+ a few months ago and just a few months later it's $103 or $105. The staff are not as friendly as before especially for today's visit. It's such a disappointment given that we insisted on using CAH for both of my lovely cats even after we moved out of this area, which takes us 30mins+ drive from our new place), but now I think it's time to change.
Note: I hope all my appointments can be taken by Dr Tohill who I think is the best.
They saved my dogs life and let me do payments. The cost was half of what other vets charge. He was 8 months old and kicked by a horse which broke his femur.
He has a scar but hasn't limped one time since his surgery.

We started with Featherle when our previous dog, Pudge was 2 and they groomed him until he passed at 15. My parents even brought their dogs all the way from Alexandria! We got our current little guy in 2021 and he’s an extra pup, but Mary and all the folks at Featherle treat him with love and respect. I can’t say enough good things about Featherle and highly recommend them!
This is such a special place. The staff truly cares about the dogs and Sherrie, the general manager, is a really kind person to work with. I also LOVE how easy it is to make a reservation. I filled out a new dog form on the website (so easy) and had quick responses to get us scheduled and on our way. My dog was SO happy here and I loved watching him on the cameras all day. We had our flight get messed up coming home, which messed up our scheduled pick up, and the staff was understanding and worked with us. Really appreciated that. Thanks Dog Tales! We will be back!
My dog is a rescue with PTSD. He seems totally unbothered when I pick him up after a grooming session. I have no complaints!
I have been seeing Tora at Zen Holistics for several years & she never disappoints. I have several problems that are spine related and her therapeutic massages have been very helpful in that regard.. overall I feel refreshed and already looking forward to my next weekly massage. I haven't been anywhere else since finding Tora at Zen!
I been going to HH Massage for a year now. I just wanted to thank Holly and staff for the wonderful job that they do! The place is clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly, well trained and the hours are great for someone like me needs later evening appointments. If you are look for a place to get a good massage, then you need to come here!
I visited a month ago and will definitely be back. The technician (sorry, I cannot remember her name) was wonderful. I paid for 30 minutes but the massage was well over time. I left feeling wonderful. She does not take appointments, so it is a bit hit or miss whether she will be free but it is worth giving it a try.

Dr Yen's herbal medicine works. Unlike some TCM Dr who can quote 黄帝内经 fluently and explain their formula endlessly, but feels nothing when taken, you can tell Dr Yen's medication works immediately. If it doesn't work in 1 week, he will change formula promptly. I don't really know whether Chinese medicine theory is true or not, only thing I care is it solve issues.
I highly rate this business and the doctor! I came here after reading the benefits of acupuncture and was extremely impressed with the doctor. He took exceptional care of both of my older teens and I. My 17-year-old is disabled and he spent extra time during the consult to answer any of her questions. After a car accident, I came here and he began treatment to relieve that pain. Every time I leave this office, I’m feel so much better than when I walked in! The ambience is easily the nicest office I’ve ever been seen in. They have Saturday hours and are flexible during the week.
