“We recently hired Mike Myers floor company to refinish oak and maple floors/pine stairs in a 100 year old house. The floors had a mix of pet stains and dog scratches. He talked us through our options for each different wood, made recommendations, and explained why refinishing made more sense than replacing for our specific situation. Mike's communication and speed (they were able to fit us in around new years and finished in 4 days) were excellent.

The floors turned out great. The scratches completely disappeared. The pet stains did not magically completely disappear, but they did shrink a lot and the new floor color (provincial) hides them well. The 3 layers of polyurethane completely blocks any odor (we have a cat with an excellent sense of smell who has not noticed the spots at all). Overall we're happy and will likely use his company again when we need more floor work done.“
