We had MAJOR storm damage in June 2025 when a 10+ Ton tree fell on to our house destroying roof truss, rafters, window, ceiling, etc. We were fortunate to have great immediate experience with our tree removal from Shelton Tree Service. After working through insurance and mortgage funding and several estimates, we were very fortunate to go through Painter Roofing. The owner of the company, Frank Painter, was involved with us throughout the build out and repair. Very accessibile at all times and excellent with timeline. No surprises and we are happy to have met Frank Painter and his work crew. He lives here locally in Arlington and his children went to Yorktown High School. This community is very important to him. “I had an issue with one of my gutters. Called two other companies that either tried to tell me to replace my entire gutter or would take weeks to come fix it. Metro Gutter came to my house within 2 days and actually got on a ladder to examine the problem. No other company did this. They were honest and told me I didn’t need to replace the gutter at all. They said the gutter end caps needed to be sealed and the helmet removed. Surprisingly, they were able to come and complete the work the next day. They ensured the work was done correctly and showed me what they did. The price was very reasonable and they were easy to work with. I highly recommend them.“

“We've had leaks in our bedroom ceilings and we saw that Nest was highly rated so recently reached out to Nest Exteriors. They communicated extremely well with the schedule and next steps. Miguel was our point of contract and he was outstanding. When their crew came to our house they were very professional and took their time. They actually uncovered that our issue was actually a problem with condensation coming from our Air Conditioning Unit. They spent a lot of time inspecting hard to reach areas in the attic. Even though it took them a while to do the inspection, they did not charge us for their time. I totally recommend this company.“

“Luis, the Artin Services estimator, was the most thorough estimator of the three roofing companies I contacted. He also produced the best proposal for repairing the flat roof portion of my house. It was easy for me to see how the Artin Services men who repaired my roof worked. They worked so well together, it was like watching a ballet. The finished product was excellent. Without asking and without charge the roofers replaced part of the dryer duct which was clogged with a bird nest. This task was easy to do with the roof sheathing gone but would have been an expensive repair once the roof was repaired. If I need another roof repair, I would hire Artin Services to do the work in a New York minute.“

Within 24 hours he had come to my house (even though I wasn’t there; I had a guest staying), he assessed the damage and repaired the damage. What is critical to note is the following. “FCW replaced my original 60 year old windows in less than half a day. Good work and very reasonable prices. The manufacturer of the vinyl window FCW uses has features that others don't like composite reinforcement and a well sealed sill/sash.
Call all the other window places you want and you will end up with what seems like used car salesmen at your door trying to sell you overpriced windows with the high pressure tactics hawking predatory lenders to make it all possible. Then call FCW and you will instantly see the big and positive difference it makes dealing with a small, knowledgeable, honest, and caring company.
