IDS was great to work with! I am an architect and they worked on my own residence. I own a 1900 rowhouse in Bloomingdale. IDS are familiar with working on historic masonry buildings and understand how to navigate the DC permitting process. Their team was very professional and efficient. They did both exterior and interior repointing as well as rebuilding a stair and failing retaining wall. I had a great experience working with IDS and highly recommend them.

Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and honest, exactly what you want when you hire someone to do a big project on your finicky old house. Working with IDS to repoint the façade of our rowhouse was a delight. I would not hesitate to hire this company again for another big project in the future.

I used IDS for tuck pointing work and to remove part of a crumbling chimney. The work was done fast, exceptionally well, and professionally. The owner, Jeremy, gave me his honest opinion on what was required to get the job done, and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary things. I definitely recommend and plan on using them in the future.
