Although, it sucks to have your pet go through surgery, I'm so thankful he came to you guys for the surgery. Amber Lee, you went above and beyond when I was asking you about the different restaurants in the plaza while I waited for Spart to be finished. I was not familiar with the area (I've only been in Utah 2 years, in the south valley). You're so cool! Dr. Watkins took his time with me to explain the possible outcomes, and what it would take to fix those. After the surgery was done, he came and explained everything to me. I'm in nursing school, so it was really cool to see the head CT and videos of his surgery. I felt at ease leaving Spartacus (my precious baby), with them for surgery. Everyone here is super great! I'd recommend VetMed to anyone who needs a specialist! Thank you sooooo much, times infinity, for giving my kitty a better quality of life, and having the ability to breathe to his full capacity now. “I was visiting from out of town, my daughter recommended them and I called. The fit my dog in that very same day, the staff were very loving and kind, and most of all - my dog was fine. The vet explained what was going on, gave me instructions, and we were on our way. If I ever need a vet again in Salt Lake City, this is where I am going!“

Hillside staff actually properly diagnosed my kitten and gave her the proper treatment. They also took the time to answer all of my questions and validated my concerns about the other vet being wrong.
She had a fairly simple issue that the other vet hadn’t been able to catch. Thanks to the hillside staff at their urgent care, my kitten is feeling better than she has in months!“

“Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue (rmdr.org) has been grateful for Dr. Lynette Sakellariou, DVM and her team since Kona and Bailey had their first wellness visits in 2023. One of our trusted fosters introduced us to Neighborhood Veterinary Care, and we’ve relied on them ever since to care for our dachshunds and doxie mixes coming from a wide range of backgrounds—many of whom arrive in need of rehabilitative medical care before finding their forever homes. We especially appreciate their gentle approach—like offering dental cleanings that don’t require sedation when possible—and the way they help anxious dogs (and humans) feel more comfortable. “3 months ago, we called Brickyard Animal hospital in crisis. Our dog had been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and needed her spleen removed immediately. Dr. Allen accommodated our schedule and saved her life. When she got home, I noticed that the staff had trimmed her nails. I don’t know why but that act of kindness brought my wife and I to tears. We didn’t ask for it. They didn’t charge us. And the gesture communicated so much.

The doctor let us know that we hadn’t saved her, only extended her life by 3 months. Maybe up to 6 if we were lucky. Today we let her go, 3 months almost to the day. And as much as I hate this, I have so much gratitude for these people who gave us 3 more months to grieve and to be with our pup. Thank you thank you so much. For your skill and your kindness and your genuine love. It showed through every step of the process.“

“Our Cat had an abscess tooth. It was very dramatic. His chin was very swollen and clearly painful. Millcreek Urgent Care got us in immediately on a Saturday morning. During the visit our Cats chin burst open, it was really exciting in a very scary way. Dr Prior handled the situation with calm assertive strength. He seems unshakable and born to be a Veterinary Doctor. His stealthy actions gave our Kitty (and us) confidence that we were all in the right hands. They performed two extractions, one of which, as mentioned, had burst through his chin. They managed to get this done for an incredibly reasonable price and in a miraculously efficient timeframe. We were in at around 10:30 and picked him up and brought him home by 4:15 the same day. Dr Prior is the answer for no nonsense, no “upsell” strong confident pet care. The staff are incredibly helpful as well. It’s hard to not be in awe of the Millcreek urgent clinic and their gifted staff. While I hope I never have another pet emergency I hope they will always be available in times of crisis. Thank You Guys!
