“Best vet in town. They go above and beyond. I'll never forget when my bullmastiffs had babies (5 survived) and I took them in for first shots, worming, etc. They literally closed down for two hours just to accommodate my babies and to make sure there were no sick dogs around when I brought them in. These were 20 pound 6 week old puppies so still a log of dog. They spent time with every single one of them and thoroughly examined everyone of them (a lot of play time too, LOL). They have taken care of all my animals now for at least 15 years. Thank you Lauren!!!! And everyone else!“

“Been taking my cat there for his yearly wellness exams since we moved to Austin last year. He is a spicy patient but they are always prepared to make the visit as smooth as possible. Dr. DeCiero and the techs do an awesome job handling him and I am confident in their care!“

“Everyone here is super sweet and nice, and made my boyfriend, our kitty, and me feel very welcome. They explained what they were doing and why, and everything was quick, easy and professional! Our cat was spoiled on the exam table with treats and had a great time.They didn't, however, tell us anything about cost while we were there. I paid the $75 deposit for the exam, and when we showed up they gave our cat a vaccination and gave us a cup for a poop sample to bring back and sent us on our way, no mention of cost. So I just assumed that the $75 was for everything. The next day I got an invoice for $120, and was very alarmed. My boyfriend and I are not the most well off, so I called and asked if I could have a receipt because I didn't know what any of it was for. The nice lady that answered told me that $40 was for the vaccine and $80 was for the poop cup. I said I had no idea and wouldn't have taken the poop cup if I known. Luckily she got it taken care of quick and taken off the bill, but I still found it very strange that I wasn't told any of that during the exam, or told that I had an option.I'll be returning but I'll definitely double check everything next time!“

“We recently adopted a pup and he got sick in the middle of the night night. Manchaca Village Vet took him in as a new patient that morning! The staff at the front desk, the technician, Nicole, and Dr. Wise were friendly and down to earth. Dr. Wise took her time and did a thorough check. Nicole and Dr. Wise even got on the floor with Willie! I was also surprised of the low rates! We never walked out the door of Circle C Animal Hospital under $200. A very nice welcome, excellent customer service and affordable prices. We already set up an account for our other fur baby, because Manchaca Village will now be our trusted vet. :)“

“My dog had an emergency medical need on Saturday afternoon. I was able to quickly get on the wait list and once we got to VCA, we were taken to an examination room right away. Staff was very kind and explained everything clearly to me. I was there for several hours while she was treated and got regular updates. They were able to stabilize her and I got to take her home. I honestly believe they saved her life. It was costly but I knew going in that after hours urgent care facilities would be. Thank you so much for taking good care of Shiloh!“

“My dog has been been treated by Dr. Winston and Dr. Carpenter for 2.5 years. We’ve seen about 6 other vets in my dog’s life and these two doctors are hands down the best. I can tell they actually care about my dog’s health. They are gentle and kind to him. He struggled with bad skin allergies for years and instead of just prescribing him pills and allergy shots, they introduced me to immunotherapy that can be done at home. My dog has been allergy free for the last 12 months. Their prices are very fair and these doctors take plenty of time with me to explain everything and answer my questions. Dr. Winston even reviews my dog’s teeth X-rays with me, something I’ve never seen from other vets.If we ever moved from the lakeway area, I would make the trek so my dog can continue to see the best. “So, my cat did not enjoy the visit, and that's an understatement. He had basically an anxiety meltdown, hissed and screamed at everyone including me, defacated on himself, the works, I'm not 100% sure why. What really impressed me is the lengths that the staff were willing to work with me, despite him basically tying up the room for 2 hours because no one could get close to him to put him back in his carrier. They offered several options, from different ways to trap him to sedatives, and never made me feel bad for basically taking up the space. Like I understand it's a business and they probably had other patients so I really appreciate them all working with me and empathizing with both me and my cat. We finally made it out after a sedative shot. Just soo impressive. You usually see more of the business side of the vet in my experience, but they really cared about his well-being so much. Thank you so much for being kind and compassionate humans.“
