“I know mental health is a taboo subject, but I HAVE to praise them.
I have been struggling immensely with my anxiety. My husband alerted the staff, even the doctor, of what would cause a freak out. Y'all, the way they accommodated was superior. I recently have a fear of confinement; closing the door to a room I don't know with people that are unfamiliar sets fight or flight alarms screaming. The doctor about flung it wide open. He was so sweet and gentle, even explained to my constant, annoying, curious questions with great detail. I've definitely found a diamond in the rough and will continue to go back. Thank y'all so much for now y'all treated me! Just amazing, gentle, compassionate people.

“It is not often when writing a review, you do not want to understate to the reader the expertise, pleasantness, and delivery of patient service by an exceptional staff committed to me (a retiree).

My provider is Dr. Lance Abernathy. For years, he has delivered exceptional eye care and demonstrates a true sensitivity to my needs at this point in my life. He prescribes prescription changes only when the need is present where other practices I’ve experienced will make minor changes for the benefit of their optical department to increase profits with the sale of new lenses and glasses.

In addition to Dr. Abernathy, opticians Chere and Andrea devote their full attention to providing total comfort in my purchase. I will specifically request their service, and if not available, I will return on another day.

To emphasize my statement not to understate this review, my health insurer made changes a few years ago eliminating this provider and many other providers. In other words, I have no insurance to cover my eyecare, however with my desire to experience exceptional care and service, I willingly pay 100% out of pocket for the examination and eyeglasses.

Hopefully, this review will offer assurance to anyone deciding choices for their eye care needs.“
