“Larry responded quickly to my inquiry, and he quickly resolved the problem with our cooling unit's drain pan (removing some insulation that had gotten stuck in the drain). He attempted to blow out the line for the primary drain multiple times, but it will likely require a plumber to resolve. Larry explained the situation and also refused to accept payment, given it was a relatively small effort on his part and the issue was not fully resolved. He said "I don't like to do business that way," politely declining the payment - even though he'd used his time and energy to provide at least short term fix. High integrity, high quality. I'll come to Larry for my future HVAC needs!“

He quoted me $100 for what I asked to do, but even after both visits he wouldn't accept any money from me although I even insisted and also tried throwing money at him. I'm not sure how he makes money but this clearly is a trustworthy owner who is willing to help anyone in need. I'll use him in the future for years to come for sure. I'm the kind of customer that feels obligated to pay for work and services performed and I'm a little shocked but definitely feel blessed as we just moved into a house that hasn't been taken care of. They not only misdiagnosed the problem but they tried to sell me on a lot of other things I didn't need for thousands of dollars.I called Kevin at Texas Star Services, and he came that very afternoon, quickly diagnosed the problem with was just a shorted wire. A couple of wire nuts, later, my system ran as good as new. Don't get scammed by the fancy guys that advertise on the radio!“
