“Performance Heat & Air has been a great decision since they installed our new Trane system about a year ago — but it's how they handled things going wrong that really earned this review.
Our evaporator coil failed last week. I called in, Alex answered, and within hours someone was dispatched so we had AC over the weekend instead of sweating it out. Alex kept following up the whole time, and right when promised, MacGyver and Chris showed up today, swapped in a brand new coil, and had the system humming along again — nice and cool inside, even with Texas summer doing its thing outside.
Everything was covered under warranty, but that's almost beside the point. It's the communication, the follow-through, and showing up when they say they will that makes me glad I chose Performance Heat & Air for our system. Highly recommend.“

“We have trusted TDAC for our HVAC maintenance and repairs for over two years now. In our experience, their technicians are always honest, efficient, and pleasant to interact with.

The first time we called HVAC was for a second opinion on the state of our A/C system - the first company we called claimed that we needed a completely new system and after being asked directly if anything else could be done to salvage our current system, they said no. The next day an HVAC technician came out and found the actual source of the problem - a quick repair, couple hundred dollars for parts and labor. Two years later and the system is still running just fine with regular maintenance.

On another occasion, we were having problems with our furnace in the winter. We called out a TDAC technician who got the system running again quickly, but recommended we get a part replaced or we could risk the system failing again within a couple of weeks. Against my better judgement I refused the preventative service, and just like the technician predicted, the system went out again a week and a half later. TDAC was able to quickly get the part in that my system needed and get it replaced for a very reasonable price, and now when a TDAC technician recommends preventative maintenance, I will make sure to listen.

Most recently we interacted with Clayton who, in typical TDAC fashion, got our old system running again quickly. I appreciated his friendly demeanor despite having to work in our attic on the hottest day of the year, and that he put up with my questions.

As first-time home owners, my wife and I are very thankful that we have TDAC as a resource that we can trust and rely on for our HVAC services. Would highly recommend them.“
