Although they had a full schedule with surgery appts, they asked me to drop my dog so they could see her between appts. Did lab work and sent her home with prescriptions. All good now. Hooves and paws saved me from having to go to an emergency clinic. Wonderful and caring service!“

6600 Prue Rd, San Antonio“I have been coming to this clinic for about 3 years. I always have positive experiences with them, they are very helpful, kind, and thorough. I really like that they check you out in the exam room so you’re not moving around a bunch and this helps my cat stay more calm. They also helped get my cat some medicine I can give her before her appointment so she’s not as nervous and this helps a ton. I am so grateful to have found this clinic and highly recommend them to everyone!“

4522 De Zavala Road, San Antonio“I was referred to South Texas Ophthalmology by my vet in Austin to look at a mass growing on my dog’s eye. Dr. Greller was great. He was able to remove the mass on my dog’s eye the same day of my initial appointment. He spent time explaining the diagnosis and going over my options for how to proceed. He was able to ease my concerns over putting my almost 14 year old Labrador retriever under anesthesia. I knew I was leaving her in good hands! They sent me a text update right before her procedure started to let me know she was doing great and called me right as she woke up to let me know everything went successfully. I can’t thank them enough for taking such great care of my dog, Belle!“

21715 I-10 Suite #110, San Antonio“Our three furry children have been with Dominion Vet for the last 4-5 years. They have always gone above and beyond for our routine puppy-dog needs, serving as a perfect home base for our dogs; an easy 5 star review. Yesterday Dominion vet’s resources and capability was tested beyond what I ever thought possible. My golden doodle (RUTHIE) was violently attacked by another much larger dog, resulting in massive blood loss from bites to her neck. She had little time and was bleeding profusely despite my family efforts at holding pressure. We live nearby, however the 1 mile trek felt like an eternity. Dominion vet was called and alerted of my family’s arrival and frantic state. Upon pulling into the parking lot, the team was ready and waiting in the parking to recover a blood soaked and actively bleeding nearly lifeless Ruthie. The entire team’s response was TV worthy and honestly unexpected from our neighborhood primary care. “CLEAR A TABLE!” Was yelled out from parking lot upon entering the clinic. Doctor Armstrong and Dr. Shaw were immediately on scene and began shouting out orders while also initiating emergent hemorrhage control, volume replacement through immediate IV access, obtaining STAT labs, all while simultaneously coordinating transfer to Mission Vet ER and offering reassurance to my panic-stricken mother. This is the “take over” feeling we all need during times of absolute helplessness. Ruthie needed blood and needed it fast. An employee whose animal was a universal blood donor was called for standby in case Ruthie was delayed in her transfer. Literally cannot believe he selflessness of these people! Upon acceptance and coordination of transfer to Mission Vet, the team saw how distraught my mother was and loaded Ruthie up ( without any question or hesitation) in the facility administrators van and transferred Ruthie themselves to Mission Vet with IV’s running. Ruthie rode accompanied with staff and my mother following. Both Mission vet and Dr Armstrong and Dr Shaw were in constant contact with one another, relaying information to myself and my wife about Ruth’s progress. Upon arrival Ruthie received the blood she needed and responded better than expected, giving her some improved prognosis at life. Her condition remains guarded however she remains in the fight only because of the quick response and expertise of Dominion Vet. My wife and I both work in emergency medicine. This would be considered a perfectly executed code and coordinated transfer to a higher level of care. An absolute perfect combination of professionalism, expertise, leadership, and genuine compassion. We are very great full for your care. A 5 star review simply does not capture the amazing level of care that was provided.“

6820 Alamo Pkwy #118, San Antonio“Dr. Shannon is the best veterinarian we have ever had. We have a whole zoo at our house, and we trust her with each of our furry family members.
We’ve had our pets go through highs and true lows, and each time we’ve been more than comfortable with their care in Dr. Shannon’s hands. You can tell she loves what she does as well as each of her patients. She goes above and beyond, will literally get on the floor with your pet to make them comfortable, and has kind and patient energy.
We hope we’re able to continue care with her as long as we live in San Antonio. :)“

They took care of her and I was asked questions from the vet to ensure I was keeping her lol I guess. It kinda felt like an interview but I understand why. Anyway, I plan on scheduling my kitty for a spay appointment soon. Great place for initial exams and shots at lower cost.“

11185 Westwood Loop, San Antonio“Fantastic staff (Cassie, Alexis & Siri), & Dr. Gass were all great with my dog; (patient, approachable & caring). I didn't feel pressured on not extending additional services that were an option or unnecessary for my dog, like I always felt with my other Vet). My dog was uneasy at first, but after being examined & treated, he left the office like a new dog! It was so gratifying to have been serviced with such upmost customer service skills & such a compassionate staff. Culebra Creek will forever be our new Vet for our pets for life? Thank you all for a great first & lasting impression ??“

8615 Potranco Rd, San Antonio“Brought my dog here the other day for her yearly checkup and rabies shot. My fiance made an appointment for 10 AM. We pulled in a couple of minutes before 10. I took the dog for a walk on the grass while my fiance checked us in. When I went in, they were already calling us into the exam room. This place is good about keeping on schedule. They are very good with the animals that are brought to them. My dog was dropped off at the Humane Society after she had been with the same family all her life. I think this made her nervous about leaving with the vet, but they were very kind to here. While we were there for her checkup, we asked them to trim her nails. Her nails were starting to look like they belonged in Nightmare on Elm Street. The appointment was very quick. To reward our dog for being good, we went to Dutch Brothers and got her a Pup Cup. I recommend this place for how well they stay on schedule and how well they treat the animals“

Made my dog feel at ease, as we know sometimes ours pets don't like visiting the MD. I will be using their services going forward. The office space is also spacious. You can walk your dog around for a bit before going inside.“

4315 Fredericksburg Road SUITE 2, San Antonio“Our dog was mauled by another dog yesterday so we rushed her to the AER where Dr David McGookey and his staff saw her and triaged her immediately. Dr McGookey explained what was potentially going on with her and what their recommended treatment would be to include an estimated cost which was very reasonable. They treated her and kept her for 6 hours of observation after which we picked her up and she was looking much better after being so severely traumatized. The final bill was spot on what they initially estimated it to be. It was worth the extra drive time to take her to the AER. Now we will follow up with our regular vet. These folks were great. Highly recommend them.“
