Charlie, a 52-lb pit mix, was the victim of a dog fight. I called a couple of other emergency vets and got recordings. This place has an actual human who answers the phone. I came here because this is also where ACS emergencies go. She said Charlie would be seen right away based on his serious injuries. They carried Charlie out of my car and started working on his wounds immediately. He had 4 drainage tubes and countless staples. Their service includes removal of what they put in, so we came back for the tubes and staples after a few days. Dr. Kim Buck saved Charlie's life.
My Shih Tzu jumped up to greet my husband and landed on my smaller pups neck & head on Saturday night. My small pup Fancy was seen for pain and blood pooling in the whites of her eyes Sunday morning. The vet tech greeted us outside and took Fancy in to be evaluated. When we were finally called to one of the rooms the vet had a very accusatory tone. After we explained what happened he asked us if Fancy was choked at any point. I've honestly been wrestling with giving the emergency vet clinic one star for this. I felt attacked. They were very fast at taking my furbaby back who was in pain after having many back to back seizures in a short amount of time . They also gave her some Valium to ease her before euthanasia . They were caring , compassionate and understanding with me and my old girl. If I have another emergency I'll definitely be going back . Thank you
