Water Heater Installation/Repair in Arlington

“This is my second time using J Rowe. The last time was a few years ago when I was worried about an issue that turned out to not be an issue at all. I had contacted another company that charged me a lot for the service call and told me it wasn't an issue while treating me like an idiot. I called J Rowe for a second opinion, and their rates were so much better and they explained the situation in a way that put me at ease. They treated me right so I decided they would be my go-to call the next time I needed a plumber.

And that day was today. The water department sent me a message yesterday about continuous water usage at my property. It made me very anxious so I called J Rowe during my lunch break at work and very quickly set up and appointment for this morning, first thing. The guys came on time in the 2-hour window I was given. When they were on the way I got a text message and e-mail with guy's name and picture so I could recognize him when he arrived.

Clannad (Duffy) and Jesse were both very polite and professional. They VERY quickly discovered the issue and very quickly got me an estimate and then very quickly got to work and fixed it up. There was no pressure to upsell or scare me or anything. I asked about another non-urgent issue, too, and was given information on what it would take to repair it when I was ready, again with no high-pressure sales nonsense.

Duffy chatted with me a bit, explaining what they did to repair the problem, why the problem likely happened and how the repairs would be more durable and reliable going forward. I was neither treated like a child in the explanation nor was I overloaded with jargon that would mean nothing to me. I found the explanation of the problem and repairs very understandable.

He also gave me some recommendations for unrelated maintenance around the house that I think will prove very useful. These guys were really knowledgeable.

I have had some irritating interactions with repair guys in the past so I always feel a little stressed when I need to call someone out. But I felt very comfortable and at ease today. I really appreciate the professionalism and politeness and the sense that they were there to help me with my issue, not to pressure me into spending more money than I had to.

Again, the price for the service call is much better than big-name competition and all my interactions with J Rowe workers have been low-stress and super-professional. I appreciate that a lot and after this service call I still feel confident in these guys being my go-to for plumbing issues.“

Colin was the tech that called and came out. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer, more polite young man. I retired from law enforcement, so I may have a jaded lens through which I view the world. But young men like Colin will go a long way in restoring my faith in humanity. He found a clog about where I told him it would be. But frankly, it was simply a joy to meet someone this pleasant. These folks are nice and the prices are pretty reasonable. I was certainly expecting worse. And he didn't try to upsell a lot of nonsense like a guy from a company named after a founding father of our country once did. If you've got toilets not flushing, these folks will brighten your day. Or maybe night.“
