“Dr. Bowe was the surgeon who repaired a broken femur on my then 3yr old dog, while he was in the care of a rescue. I went back to him 8 years later, when his hip was bothering him, and not only he remembered him and had all his records. After X-Rays there wasn’t anything he could do surgery wise, so he gave me recommendations to manage his discomfort plus prescribed some meds. After a few weeks of doing what he said my dog regain use of his hip and has been doing great since.A month agYears eve, my dog had bloody diarrhea and we had to take him to an emergency vet. To my surprise, Dr. Bowe called on the first business day, and left me a message saying he was notified of our ER visit and was calling to check on my dog to see if he was doing better or if he needed something else. I was floored he took the time to call personally.Dr Bowe is a very experienced, kind, caring and professional Vet, and I’m so grateful and lucky to have gone back to his practice. Yes, getting a same day appointment is very unlikely ( same situation with PCP’s for humans!) so for emergencies I take my dog to Urgent Vet in Prosper, and see Dr. Bowe for yearly checks and issues related to his hip or overall wellbeing. That’s the combo that works for us because I know I won’t get his level of care anywhere else, and I trust him wholeheartedly for my dog.“

“I am one of those people that will typically only take time to write a review if the product / service was exemplary or the complete opposite. This is definitely a case of the former!We ended up coming to Valley Ranch Pet Clinic in late 2020 / early 2021 during the pandemic, after losing our beloved Golden Retriever. We used to go to another local vet, but I was very hurt when they did nothing to acknowledge our dog's passing. He was our world, and they knew it! I was so distraught over the sudden hemangiosarcoma diagnosis at an emergency clinic and having to "put him down" that I reached out to Dr. Capp to make sure I had done the right thing. She was so comforting! She had just met me and still set aside time just to speak to me about an animal she had never seen! Turns out she had Goldens in the past and understood their propensity to cancer. From then on, we were "sold".Shortly after, we brought our two senior cats to see Dr. Capp for their senior well-visit. Dr. Capp and her staff were so kind and thorough! It was such a comfort knowing we had a good vet after losing our dog. Fast forward and unfortunately, both cats have now passed away. The first went to the Rainbow Bridge in the summer of 2021 and our oldest met her there just a few weeks ago. We hadn't been into the clinic in a while because I had moved, but when I reached out recently to get the records for a younger kitty my daughter had brought in, I mentioned the recent passing, and we just received a lovely condolence card signed by the entire staff. This meant so much, particularly given our previous vet had done nothing of the sort when our sweet Golden died. I only briefly mentioned our cat's passing and Dr. Capp and team sent a card shortly thereafter. Simply amazing.I really can't say enough about Valley Ranch Pet Clinic or Dr. Capp and her staff! If you are looking for a new vet or just a second opinion, look no further!“

I also had four puppies who needed to come in for shots and their nail clipping, and they let me bring them in all at once. It was a huge hassle, and they handled it with Grace. “I have never had a bad experience at High Point. The entire staff is wonderful. All the Vets are kind and are obviously in their professions for the love of the animals. I have been to some terrible vets. I have had horrific vet experiences. I have lost pets to poor veterinary care and vets who just wanted to be paid (like wouldnt treat my dying animal until AFTER i paid them..). For years I had some sort of vet ptsd and I just wouldn't ever take my animals to a vet unless I needed to. This place ROCKS. If you are looking for a vet look no further. “It is so nice to find a veterinarian that is a.... Veterinarian. Just as It's hard to find a doctor for your own needs that isn't pushing the newest medication or too busy to see you for a week, sometimes months? We were lucky to be introduced to the Abrams Royal Animal Clinic through my father who has 3 bird dogs in the Lake Highlands area. And though we are over in Lakewood? We have found that it's worth the drive. It is a small vet location with a competent and patient staff that is not over worked or forced to try and upsell you. So the overall visit is always pleasant. A typical pre physical examination of your pet and tell you if they see anything and when the doctor comes in he'll look again. The ask you what the issue is and if it's not an issue? it's not an issue. He's not going to say well okay let's keep him/her here overnight blah blah . He explains that certain breeds do this in certain cats have issues or habits not to concern you. He's seen it before and it's not anything to worry about. If you have a serious issue? they will definitely treat it immediately and tell you up front what it might cost and how much they're willing to knock off if you're strapped for cash or money. It's not a charity, it's just that they care. There's no wait usually and you can bring your animal in that day. Call of course but wow... and they are also open on weekends. (may not say that on Google maps, but give them a call). I am always shocked that I'm paying probably half of what I expected and not charged for things that are routine. The location is clean and small and I'm sure that helps keep their prices down. But I can assure you that the vet has been doing this for decades to the point of being able to reminisce of stories from decades ago. I guess what I'm describing is a true veterinarian. There aren't many vets that run their office like they used to. With all the attempts to upsell you? The Vet is a man with decades of experience. He's seen it all. He does diagnosis instead of testing unless necessary. If you are worried about something and it turns out to be nothing? You can expect the bill to reflect that. This location and doctor is like a "time capsule" of how vets used to be.“

“What I was quoted on the phone was entirely different from what I was charged in-person, I paid almost $500 in comparison to thinking it'd be around $300. Vet and staff were very sweet and informative in person though. For reference I was told it'd be $109 for an exam and blood test and it instead ended up being $154 per cat.“

“I have gone to Dr. Matt Morrison for many years. I trust his skills. He is also compassionate and funny. He explains things well. He has seen me through several Samoyeds and Pugs. His staff is excellent...very low turnover. When you call, they know you..and your pet.July 29, 2023. I had a wonderful, though sad, experience at Riverchase Animal Hospital. My sweet 13 year old Samoyed, Blitz, had to be euthanized, a horrible decision almost all of us have to make, in order to keep our pets from pain. For 20 years I have found Dr. Morrison to be extremely knowledgeable and with first rate veterinary skills. The compassion we experienced on that difficult day, through the entire staff and the techs touched us greatly. Though Dr. Morrison is retiring soon, I believe Riverchase is in excellent hands with Dr. Dees-Atkinson. She cared for Blitz the last couple of weeks of his life and even emailed me with assistance on her days off! Blitz loved to go to the vet as she patted him (a lot!). To finish the story, we received flowers from Riverchase the next day. I could not recommend a clinic more highly to those neighbors in Coppell.“

“I cannot begin to say enough Amazing things about Dallas Animal Urgent Care and their sister location Mid- Cities Animal Urgent Care. They have gone above and beyond to help and care for my Maltese Mia that has been showing odd symptoms that took us down this journey. Dr. Waite has gone above and beyond for us as has Dr. Hurd, both have been there for us in a way very few vets do and even more in an urgent care setting. With these actions you know they truly care about their patients and they truly want them to be healthy and well. Dr. Roberts is another excellent Dr. there as well. I would recommend all three with glowing reviews. We are continuing to see why Mia has the symptoms she has but I know they are supportive in every step of the process. Oh and their prices are the most affordable I have found in the Urgent Care setting and beyond! Again I recommend with my eyes closed!“

“Pet owners in West Plano can't throw a rock without hitting a vet clinic. So when I say CityVet Preston and Park is the BEST, that means something. We have three very pampered dogs and two spoiled cats that are patients here, and there aren't more capable hands we'd entrust them to than Dr. Tucker's and his amazing staff's. With five critters, there's always something going on with one (or more...) at any given time, and it is extremely comforting to know there's an entire clinic full of experts who genuinely care at the ready. One of our senior pups, Rupert, the Terrorist Chihuahua, hates having his nails trimmed. In fact, hate is not quite strong enough to describe the growling, teeth-baring and carrying on he does whenever it's time to tame his 1/2" long talons. When he was younger, there were clinics that actually refused to perform the service, that's how nasty he is in the presence of clippers. But at CityVet, they not only trim Rupie's nails, they are always happy to do it and give him extra doses of TLC while he's there. I can't even begin to tell you how much that means, and makes the entire detail SO much more bearable. Dr. Tucker also takes the time to answer all your questions, is wonderful about following up, and is never out of ideas when it comes to solving/managing perplexing health issues. Prices are also very fair for services and prescriptions, and even though I'd probably sell a gold tooth for my besties, cost does matters when you're talking vet care times five.
