Took my lab here as we went sure what was wrong with having some issues walking. The staff was kind and courteous and Dr Mathes was on the floor checking out my girl and making sure it wasn’t a serious neurological issue. Nothing critical but did somehow hurt her neck which was probably causing some pain and weakness. The vet tech Gillian was great Harley and the front desk staff was as nice as could be. It’s always nice to be treated well when you are worried about your good puppy dog. Added bonus they are open on the 1st and third Saturday if the month 8-12. So far so good and reasonably priced consult fee and RX.
Allen Family Vet is truly in a class above the rest. I’ve been to many veterinarians for other pets and have never experienced this level of compassion or quality of care for my fur baby. The entire staff is incredibly kind and consistently demonstrate genuine care for my dog’s overall well-being.

Allen family vet has cared for our pack since we moved to Allen 4 years ago. They are knowledgeable, caring, and easy to work with. I am particularly grateful for the wonderful care they provided our senior dog, extending her years of health and happiness and giving her a gentle and loving passing when that was no longer possible.
