After contacting three other companies and having them either go out of business or fail to show up for appointments we finally found J and B Countertops. When we called them, their rep literally showed up at our door within 2 hours. We visited their office the next day and their advisor spent well over an hour talking with us about our project then spent another hour helping us select our new granite countertops. The install team arrived at about 8:30 AM on the scheduled date and removed the old tops and installed the new ones by 1:30PM. To say they were meticulous would be an understatement. They removed the old tops without so much as a nick in our cabinets or walls and installed the new ones to perfection. We were amazed and pleased at the time they took to create a seam in our largest top, when they were done it was virtually invisible. They tarped our floors, vacuumed as they drilled and cut and cleaned and recleaned every surface until they were satisfied. We've done numerous how improvement projects over the years and during my career I contracted for numerous multimillion dollar projects. I went in tonight to get a spray tan in a booth. The machine had an issue that was discovered before I started the tan. The young lady who was working was extremely nice and so concerned because my tan was delayed for a few minutes. I just wanted the owner to know that she is a great employee. I’ve been going to Sun Tan Village for several years and have never had a bad experience!
The reason I came here was they picked up their phone and sold me on their customer service, from entering to exiting I was so thankful for the knowledge, care & help!!. Harley is amazing, my white skin was already tanned after 24 hrs. I got a package & lotion applied it beforhand and after 7 mins I was done. Back each day until I look bronzed for my vacay. I'm sold on this place !!

Nailed It is an amazing nail salon. Tracy did my pedicure and manicure and I must say, it was the best! I have had issues in the past with previous salons messing up my nails on my feet. Tracy was meticulous and professional and I have the happiest toes in Tennessee! My manicure was the same way. A very clean and hygienic salon with absolutely awesome, friendly and kind people. By appointment only, so give them a call!

This is not your typical salon... it is better! I struggle with warming up to businesses that I've never been to before. It always makes my skin crawl when I walk into a salon and instead of being met with a smile, I'm met with all eyes and treated like I'm a cog in the machine and no more than a name on a list. That was not the case here! I warmed up to Christy and felt comfortable with her and others in the shop. Their policy of taking appointments as a priority is SO important to me. I've made appointments at other salons and have still had to wait as if I was a walk in. Christy was up front and honest with me as well which to me is a major green flag! She didn't force any type of services on me and encouraged me not to get tips and I think it's so incredibly important to know what's best for the client and make suggestions as she did. I was looking for a new salon to call home and I did just that. I immediately felt pampered and relaxed as one should when being in a salon, and I will no longer dread getting my nails done! ?Services: Manicure

Literally was saved this day by a lovely hair dresser! Went to get my hair curled at another salon and they shampooed, conditioned, and blow dried my hair before ultimately deciding my hair was "too thick" for them to curl it and they began to crimp it. I was unsatisfied I told them to straighten the piece they had just crimped & I called this salon on a whim and they fit me in within 2 minutes luckily and I left happy and with my hair curled:))
Last year my husband and I moved from PA to KY to be near family. I didn't know any hairdressers in the area and the woman who cut my hair destroyed it! It was chopped up so bad, nothing laid well and the back was so short I couldn't manage it. My daughter living in TN told me about April Cook Hair and I took a chance based on my daughter's recommendation. April performed a miracle on my hair blending it as well as could be expected based on how uneven it was. Except for a couple of places that needed to grow out to catch up to the rest of my hair, I was able to manage it. As a follow up, I didn't want anyone touching my hair but April! Even though her salon is two hours from my house, I made an appointment and stayed at my daughter's house until the next day. Once again, April performed a miracle. The layers are falling into place beautifully. Another plus is that April listens to how you want your hair cut and followed my instructions to the letter! Thank you so much April.

From the minute she put her hands on me I knew she was a healer. This was by far the best, most healing massage I've ever had from start to finish. I truly felt rejuvenated when I left there. I was getting over a cold and she helped to clear out my lymphatic and at the same time worked my neck to the point where I had so much relief. I unfortunately live in Florida so I can only visit her when I'm in town. If she lived close I would be a regular. Super affordable but most importantly, a true healer.

My friend and I went to True Love Tattoo for a walk-in piercing. Katie was awesome! She is kind of sassy, but it calmed my nerves and she made me laugh a lot when I was nervous. Also they don’t use a clamp for piercings which is a HUGE plus.
Veston and Paul were incredible. My daughter got her first tattoo by Paul and Veston added a cute touch to mine to make it match hers! The tattoos turned out great and they guys made the whole experience a lot of fun!

Ben and Mike were the ideal servicemen. RPM performed an outdoor faucet repair job (actually 3 separate hose bibs) that if gone wrong could have been a huge construction project as the valve body was located within a structural column. For the time spent on the job I was floored that the cost was only $ 117 including parts. Love these guys as they were super fiend and professional. Hope they charge more as they deserve more for that level of service. Thank you RPM ~

April 9, 2021 update: plumbers came and replaced all the old copper and pvc pipe in the crawl space. I am a strong believer in preventative maintenance vs emergency repair and the copper, with steel hangers, was showing signs of corrosion. Being 45 years old I chose to replace now. The team was outstanding; professional, efficient and clean. Total job was completed in five hours. I can’t say enough good things about this crew and organization.
July 3, 2019: 90 degrees and the fan motor burns up at 2:00 pm. Tried one local company with no success, they would be happy to assist after the holiday. I called Hiller and they had a tech with a motor there the next morning, July 4th. Back up and running by 10:00 am. Joe was great, explained everything and got the job done. John came out and quoted a new system that we are having installed. A very professional group and I will continue to use them for my maintenance and would recommend them to anyone who needs AC service.

Tried to replace a dock light and messed up, as most amateurs do, called in Hiller and they solved the problem without laughing too hard. The technician was thorough and professional.

This is the second time we used his services for pumping our septic tank. I actually waited for him as he was recovering from an illness. They are very easy to work with. We were able to purchase a better quality floor for less than the big box store. They have actual samples set up that you can walk on and see the difference between the coating thickness. Everyone we worked with was very nice. Would definitely use them again.

Upon completion of our custom home build, We called 3 seperate landscaping companies in the Cookeville area. We had a fairly sizeable hardscape project to be done around the entiety of the jome exterior and patio. Safari was the only company/ owner to return my call. Andrew returned the call in a timely fashion.
Andrew’s listened to the scope of the project and schedule a sight visit within a week. Andrew’s insight and approach to the project was very professional. His explanation of how he would complete the project was exactly what we wanted and how we expected it to be done.
His site foreman Jeff was excellent and detailed oriented, which was duly noted. He addressed all concerns. Both Andrew and Jeff’s clearly expressed objective was to give us a finished project we were very happy with up completion.

I highly recommend Dr Stringer, DDS he is top-notch in all areas of Dentistry. The staff is friendly, the office is beautifully decorated, and above all else he truly cares.
Went for the new 3D crown I'd been researching, one visit instead of two and half the cost. I was told I needed three was plesantly surprised I only needed one and a filling. What an amazing experience. Some of the most thoughtful people I've ever met. I came with old baggage of a dentist that left me with PTSD. Trust them painless. Love Grimm & Robinson!
From the time I walked I the door I knew I was in the right office. The receptionist is so kind and friendly, she talks to you like she has known you forever. Dr. Ken is kind, friendly and caring. He listens to your concerns and does his assessment before he does any adjustments. After two visits, one with traction I can feel a significant difference in my lower back and hip discomfort.
I have seen Dr. Mainord periodically for many years now. It would not be right to call him a Miracle Worker, but I’ll do it anyway. At each visit I appreciate more his expertise and deep understanding of how the body works. He and his staff have my highest recommendation. Thanks guys!

Dr. Verble was great with my Baby(cat). He hates males for some reason. ( he always has)! The dr was able to get baby up just enough to reach his shoulder and was done so quick my cat wasn’t aware he was being held by a man. Dr.Verble has been the only dr for my cat. He is 4 years old..

My hubby and I have been taking our fur babies ( kitties) to Copeland Veterinary Hospital. We see Dr Baker. They take excellent care of our babies. Cassie in the front office calls me to check on them, when being seen. She is the sweetest lady...and Bailey is the tech that I always ask for. She is very gentle with my babies. Dr Baker is the best vet we have ever had..so thorough and caring. They might be a bit pricey at times, but very well worth it. After all....these are your babies ❣️ thank you to all the wonderful staff and Dr Baker ???⬛?
We had someone recommend Cookeville K-9 and Friends over 5 years ago. We looove this place; from Shannon (owner) to her spectacular staff! We would never go to ANY ONE ELSE! They will treat your dog like family- what could be better than that???
Southern Paws is the absolute best! We took our pugs there weekly for grooming and boarded with them many times over the years! Sadly our last fur baby passed recently and we miss seeing the folks at Southern Paws so much! 20/10 would recommend!!
This place is the best! I have a golden retreiver who is old and afraid of heights and they take their time with her. She really enjoys her spa day.
My cat hates going to any groomer. It's a free for all just getting her into the cat carrier! Groomers used to have to put a muzzle on her! But she met her match when she met Peggy. When Peggy reaches to get her out of the carrier, she gives up and lets Miss Peggy twist and flip her all around without any fuss.
No other groomer has been able to get her to submit to the grooming process like Peggy. Thank you!!
We took Lucy and meadow for the first time yesterday! They were able to get them right in and treated them with so much love and kindness. You can tell they love the animals! Best experience with a groomer and will be going back!
Copyright pet resort is truly AMAZING!! We had an emergency in our family and needed boarding last minute. Copyright helped us immediately and were so caring. Hayley went above and beyond and you can tell that they have such a loving heart towards animals. I recommend them 10/10!!!

He’s an old dog and it was his first time being boarded at age 13.
The team took great care of him and came home smelling fresh (plus we didn’t have to clean his fur out of our drain ? ).

I had my first massage with Nissa today and I was very impressed. Great customer service, very informative, and gets the job done. After my visit I can for sure tell difference and that says lot because usually after my massage visits I don’t see whole lot of improvement but I did after the visit with her. Will definitely be booking with her again. Great massage therapists are hard to find now days. Thank you again for working out my stiffness.

In Myra's absence, Carole has been great with both mat and table Thai massage. With my osteoarthritis, the stretching and massage is very beneficial. I would highly recommend Carole, and have booked her monthly well into the Fall.
Tried Thai massage with Myra Huddleston for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with greater mobility afterwards. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and shoulders. I had a deep tissue massage with Myra a while ago and she recommended trying Thai. It helped my mobility and I signed up for the next few months. Highly recommend Myra and Thai massage.
I’ve been to Center of Balance a couple of times now, and overall, it’s been a really pleasant experience. Each time I’ve left feeling more relaxed than I have in my entire life—it genuinely felt like someone handed me a brand new body. Whatever stress or tension I came in with, it was completely gone by the time I walked out.
Another huge plus is the pricing. I did my research, and their rates are the best in town without sacrificing quality. You definitely get a great value for what you’re paying.
That said, I do have one consistent complaint, and I’ve noticed I’m not alone in this—many other reviews mention the same thing. The massage therapist talks way too much during the session. After my first visit, I was already dreading the small talk the second time around. It really interrupts the experience and takes away from the deep relaxation they’re otherwise so good at delivering.
A simple fix could make a big difference here: include a checkbox on the intake form allowing clients to indicate if they prefer a quiet session. That small option would go a long way in making the experience even better.
Despite that one issue, I’ll definitely be back. The results speak for themselves, and with a bit of refinement, this place could be unbeatable.
