They are very friendly, have done annual maintenance, responded to two service calls (one when heat was out following a hard freeze), have always shown up when they say they will, have had very reasonable prices for service, and have consistently delivered heating oil.“

“I call this plumber for service after developing a small leak and received a pleasant greeting that immediately scheduled an appointment 7 days later, due to their busy schedule, which they explained. "Jack" showed up on time on the appointed date and completed the work in about two hours as a cost of just over $200 including materials. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating was the 7 day timeframe for an appointment. Two other plumbers were call; one would not come out because I was not already a client. Another never returned a call. JD Mello has a new client for life. I will not hesitate to call again.M Clarke Jamestown RI“

“Knowledgeable, competent, efficient, pleasant.Dylan tracked our carbon monoxide issue to a furnace in our attic and showed and explained to us the evidence from his video of the burner flame and compared it to our basement unit which was just fine. We had extra insulation put into the attic about a year ago. Since they have to move it around and back again to replace the furnace, they recommended that we replace the attic air conditioner which was of similar age at the same time. We agreed.Eric and Shane completed the job in under 3 days. All 3 of these guys had impressive knowledge, answered every question, and explained it all well. Cleaned up well.Chris managed the timing and other particulars of the job and was equally pleasant and responsive.This is definitely a top caliber outfit!“

“After contacting multiple other companies over the span of a couple months in the early spring to get a quote on switching our home from oil to gas and having a new combi-boiler installed, Riley Plumbing were the only folks who got back to us with a realistic price and timeline. From the initial visit to see the space and existing system, I was reassured that they could accomplish the job no problem.When it came time to actually have the work done, David, Anthony and Steve were on-time, courteous and professional. They answered all my questions, (I had a lot), and worked tirelessly through a heatwave to get everything installed in a timely manner. Even the removal of our old boiler, oil tank and extra water heater was taken care of! “I have to say that not being from here, I was quite aghast at pricing. Furthermore I called to ask a q after spending a lot on annual maintenance and they told me likely could not be fixed. I then said ok no worries and they sent someone else out anyway and then charged me money for it (after explicitly saying not to send someone if they couldn't do anything,) I was beyond frustrated. Then when I had an actual problem of course after hours and this kind gentleman helped me out for an hour over the phone to troubleshoot so my children would have heat, I realized it was all worth the cost. When it turned out that the kind gentleman was none other than the owner Tom Vessella, I was beyond impressed. Despite asking multiple times for a bill he refused. I am forever indebted to this gentleman and recommend this business multiple times over if this is the type of ownership they have in place.“

“I recently had an issue with my air conditioner. Dave, an HVAC Tech from RST Mechanical, checked all the pipes of my HVAC system and did not find any leaks. He did find the problem in my compressor and fixed the problem expediently. My air conditioner is working great now! Dave was very professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job.
