“In September 22 my A/C failed. The unit was the original from 1999. I immediately contacted Dennis Marlatt. I've used DP Marlatt in the past and trust them implicitly. Dennis came out and gave us the bad news. It was expected and we knew it was time to change our entire system. He didn't charge for the visit and he provided an estimate. The price was fantastic. “They were able to come 30 minutes after I called which is quite nearly unheard of in this industry. Or maybe I was just too lucky. Our heater wasn’t working when we opened our restaurant for business in the morning of Dec 7 so the dining room was cold so imagine our relief when someone can come practically in a moment’s notice.The repairman was courteous and professional. He didn’t take longer than he needed as the problem wasn’t huge so that was much appreciated. 10/10 Would highly recommend New Life to everyone!“
“Today’s service tech was Enrique Perez. It was his first time here, and he was very cordial and appeared very knowledgeable with our furnace. He went through and proceeded to do all the testing that’s required to make sure the unit was running and functioning properly, which it was, he was also conscientious of the home furnishings in the surroundings and put plastic covers over his shoes which were wet from the outside rain. “We have used Golden Rule as our plumbers for many years, so when we were getting quotes for a complete bathroom remodeling we got an estimate from the company. Tim Lasco was very thorough and professional, and he answered all of our questions and pointed out potential issues that we weren’t aware of. The quote was in the mid-range of others we had received, but since we already knew the company we decided to go with Golden Rule. Tim also rearranged the schedule to fit in our job before some family members arrived for an extended stay.We are glad we chose Golden Rule because the employees and workmanship were top notch. Brett’s phenomenal tile work on the shower stall is the star of the show, but he also paid attention to even the smallest details in all aspects of the remodel. His coworkers, Pat and Domenic, also did great jobs, and the three guys were kind and cheerful throughout the long process. Getting a huge vanity up the stairs without any damage was quite a feat!We highly recommend Golden Rule if you are looking for anything from a small plumbing job to a full bathroom remodel. I've been happy with their work every time, whether it's been a routine cleaning / seasonal tune up, or an emergency repair. When I first moved in, we were with a bigger provider, and they were OK, but they were a little more expensive, and I just felt like an account number. The technicians from S.A.M. Services have always gone our of their way to explain what needed to be done, and why. And, it doesn't hurt that they're local!“
