1404 Peg St, Dresher“We absolutely love this martial arts school! My kids didn’t enjoy another place we tried before, but here they’re excited for every single class, even after a few months.
The mix of training and character building is amazing. Master Zohar connects with the kids and talks about discipline, resilience, and making good choices, which really carries over into home and school. The classes are very engaging—kids are encouraged to answer questions, participate, and demonstrate different moves, which keeps them involved and builds confidence.
They also have a great reward system that keeps kids motivated to work on positive habits at home and school, and they get recognized and rewarded during class, which my kids really enjoy.
One of my kids is on the spectrum, and we were initially a bit worried, but the instructors have been incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding. It’s made such a difference.
Another big plus is the flexibility and convenience. The schedule is very accommodating, and their app makes it super easy to sign up for classes and check in, making the whole process really seamless for busy families.
We’re so happy we found this place and highly recommend it!“

He has become more confident, focused, and disciplined both inside and outside of class. The instructors are patient, supportive, and truly care about each student’s growth and development. They create a positive environment where kids feel encouraged and motivated to do their best. I highly recommend this martial arts school to any parent looking to build confidence, respect, and focus in their child. Thank you for making such a difference Jayden life..“

109 Allison Rd, Oreland“My mom first got me into Action Karate when I was 11, she knew I loved karate.
On my first day I didn’t want to talk to anyone, I was scared, but after seeing how nice the people were, I eventually warmed up. In all the time I've been at Action Karate, the people there are kind to me, I made friends along the way and still meeting new people. Action Karate helped me prepare for tournament which built up my confidence. Without them I wouldn’t have been able to perform well or even show up. Now I'm a red belt and I have so many people encouraging and helping me prepare for Black belt test. Action Karate really made me a more confident person.“

303 W Butler Ave, Chalfont“My son Declan has been training at Action Karate Chalfont since he was 3 years old. Karate has helped his confidence, respect, and leadership skills. He has really come a long way with his confidence. I remember his first karate tournament - we couldn't get him out on the mat. Now he is comfortable performing in front of big crowds. We feel like family at Action Karate. He is now testing for his Black Belt and we couldn't be more proud.“

1140 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville-Trevose“Sensei Alexander has been training with Tiger Schulmann’s for the majority of his life. He is a true embodiment of Tiger Schulmann’s and the curriculum. The guy is disciplined in the both the way he teaches and the way he trains. Sensei Alexander is a tried and tested Pro MMA fighter, BJJ competitor, and kickboxing fighter! Needless to say Sensei is an incredible instructor at both kids and adults skill levels. I truly believe Tiger Schulmann’s and Sensei have the best kids program out there, and you can see it first hand in the kids that Sensei Alexander has taught for 5-15 years now, that are ridiculously good and are successfully competing (and winning) now as Adults. This school specifically is a huge family, and is for anyone from any walk of life. There are people that come in cause they want to get in shape, and there are people that come in because they want to compete at the highest levels eventually. Sensei Alexander has tons of experience teaching both! If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely cares about you, the art in general, and getting the best out of you then Sensei is for you. If you’re looking for a welcoming school, open to all skill levels, full of amazing people, in a fun, safe learning atmosphere, give the place a try, you won’t regret it! ?“

The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about each student’s growth, both in karate and in life. They do a wonderful job teaching discipline, respect, confidence, and perseverance while making classes fun and engaging for the kids.
My children look forward to every class and have gained so much confidence since joining. The instructors create a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels valued and motivated to do their best.
We are incredibly grateful to be part of this dojo family and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a positive activity that helps children build character, confidence, and valuable life skills.“

4099 Landisville Rd, Doylestown“I’ve been a member at this gym for over 4 years, training primarily in Muay Thai, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. This isn’t just a typical martial arts gym—it offers training in 10 different styles, so there’s something here for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or experienced.
Over the years, I’ve learned a ton not just from the instructors, but also from my training partners and through my own experiences competing in Muay Thai. The environment pushes you to grow, both physically and mentally, and there’s a strong sense of respect and discipline throughout the gym.
The owner, Joe Cargado, really sets the tone. He’s honest, hardworking, respectful, and always encouraging. He also runs a strict no-ego environment, and he does not take that lightly at all. That culture makes a huge difference—you can train hard, improve, and feel supported without any negativity.
If you’re looking for a place to challenge yourself, learn real skills, and be part of a solid community, I highly recommend this gym.“

4965 Swamp Rd, Doylestown“My son has been coming here for 2 years now, and we all love it! We’ve also hosted a birthday party here, which was a blast!“

Respect, promptness, attentiveness, strength, flexibility and confidence are just a few of the attributes every parent wants a child to attain. We highly recommend Chang Karate school as a serious contender to commercialized franchises.“

155 York Rd Unit B, Warminster“I absolutely love this karate place for my child. They make your kid feel so special to help build them up. High fives and compliments all around. Staff is friendly and work with a flexible mom schedule. My kid was bullied in kindergarten and they helped rebuild a confident little girl. Now she is 8 and has her own defense and confidence. I highly recommend! And affordable compared to some others.“

123 N Main St, Dublin“We love this place. They helped make my preschooler be confident in a social setting through their little ninja program. They worked with my son to stand up for himself if anyone tries to overpower him with not so friendly intentions. I have seen Sensei Justin kneel down to talk to younger kids and make them comfortable. If any kid is not in mood to go inside for the class they usually come out, talk to the kid, make them comfortable to step in and give importance to that kid to make them feel included. We are excited to be in Youth program. My son was nervous and almost did not want to transition to the Youth classes and in his first class there were no known faces but without even informing the sensei and their helper kids made it very smooth for these younger ninja's to enjoy the experience. This place is the best for karate as well as for birthday party fun !“

“My son started taking classes at Action Karate in January of 2023. The metamorphosis that we have observed has been nothing short of magnificent. He began as a less than confident boy who remained on the periphery of most situations, and over the past two and a half years, has blossomed into a confident, charismatic, and principled pre-teen with an incredible awareness of his body and mind. He has truly learned the meaning of GRIT. The instruction he has received from this dojo was exactly what he needed to become his best self. The teachers are amazing! There is an excellent balance of compassion and consideration paired with consistency and steadiness of expectations to try your personal best. Now in the midst of working towards his black belt, now more than ever, is he embracing the hard work that is needed to achieve such a great accomplishment with as much support as he needs from the Action Karate Family. This experience will truly change the trajectory of his life!“
