A month into our time at East West, I gotta say, I'm happy we made the switch. Sensei Joe's teaching style is subtle and effective. I imagine most of the kids aren't even aware of the major life lessons he intertwines into each classes workout, but its really cool to watch.His leadership team is equally impressive. Each member is in-tune with where they are needed to provide support during the workouts. They also set up the next activity seamlessly while Sensei speaks to the kids...which seems to wrap-up just as the team has the mat set up for the next activity. For my 2023 new year's resolution, I was looking for something to keep me physically active since I've gained a lot of weight since getting a desk job. I have friends that have been attending since they were kids and they had no complaints and were very quick to recommend. I called to ask about joining and Sensei Mary made it seem like such an easy decision. She knew I was weary about starting this journey as an adult and gave a great rate for the first month with the promise that they wouldn't charge me for the next unless I gave a verbal confirmation that I wanted to continue. Great place to send your kids. Staff is very personable; they create a fun and safe atmosphere and teach excellent values. My son has gained confidence in himself and has developed many friendships. Sensei Joe is the best! I highly recommend.
