“Great gym with awesome coaches. My son goes to the fundamentals kids class and is on the younger side (so he’s not always entirely focused) but the coaches are super patient and take the time walk him through the motions for the days exercises. The coaches are constantly stressing safety, tapping early, and diligently watching the kids to ensure everyone is practicing safely.“

“Tsmma is one of the few places I feel at home the teachers and the sensi have just made my experience fulfilled I know when i walk through those doors I’m going to get the best work out in my life but most of all I’m going to learn who the real me is and what I’m actually capable of I’m glad to be apart of the family again. And I don’t use that family word lightly but that’s what they are to me I have made friends and I have learned more about who I am all because the teachers took the time to help me gain the confidence I need to deal with every day challengesSo thank you to the tsmma team“

“I have trained with Richard Robinson sensei for over 20 years, and have visited his dojo when I am in PA many, many times. This is a great place to learn and train in martial arts. Robinson sensei has Black Belts in multiple styles, and is a most talented instructor in Nami ryu Aiki Heiho. The folks in the dojo are great to train with. There are a handful of instructors who share decades of experience in this dojo. If you like swords, jujutsu, and samurai lore, and live in the Philly/Ft. Washington area, you want to check out the River of Life Martial Arts \\u0026 Wellness Center.“

“We love this place. They helped make my preschooler be confident in a social setting through their little ninja program. They worked with my son to stand up for himself if anyone tries to overpower him with not so friendly intentions. I have seen Sensei Justin kneel down to talk to younger kids and make them comfortable. If any kid is not in mood to go inside for the class they usually come out, talk to the kid, make them comfortable to step in and give importance to that kid to make them feel included. We are excited to be in Youth program. My son was nervous and almost did not want to transition to the Youth classes and in his first class there were no known faces but without even informing the sensei and their helper kids made it very smooth for these younger ninja's to enjoy the experience. This place is the best for karate as well as for birthday party fun !“

“Excellent Aikido school. If you're new to Aikido and feeling nervous, Aikido Kenkyukai is a great place to start. Since starting Aikido in 2007, I've trained in Dojos all across the country and as a result have met many Aikido teachers and schools. Kenkyukai is a seamless blend of authentic adherence to Aikido, with a light and welcoming atmosphere. At many dojos, this is like oil and vinegar - either too light hearted, or so serious you risk injury. I'm happy I started training here, and while I've taken various breaks from Aikido, am glad that I've jumped back in.“

“My son Jaxon has been doing karate with action karate Chalfont since October 2020. When he first started he was a shy and nervous four year. He did not look instructors in the eyes and had a cute side wave when spoken to. But, class after class , new skill after new skill learned and belt after belt earned , Jaxon gained more and more confidence. He has competed in tournaments and even started sparring. He now knows self defense and how to stick up for himself. Fast forward four years later Jaxon now has a lot more confidence, looks people in the eyes, says yes ma am ,yes sir and is currently working really hard to get his Jr Black belt in June. He also wants to become a leader/ mentor one day helping younger children gain confidence and gain life long skills by using karate. Watching his journey unfold the past four years has made my Mom Heart so proud bc I know he will take the skills he’s learned and do big things in his life.“
