Scotty was there within HOURS instead of days and quickly diagnosed the issue as costing mere dollars instead of a whole compressor replacement!<br>Scotty walked me through exactly what the issues was, being super patient with equipment with which I wasn't familiar. “I own a Sears Kit Home, built by my grandfather in the 1920’s. It needed repairs, updates and a general spiffing up. I wanted to keep the home true to its original form as much as possible. Also, I wanted someone who appreciates and respects older construction and materials to do the work.<br>After interviewing several remodeling/renovation companies, some who insisted on tearing out walls, John McCloskey walked in and smiled at the craftsmanship and understood my house. He saw the foibles found in old homes, like the sloped flooring. And came up with a quick and easy fix. Jessica did a fantastic job walking me through the process, selecting fixtures, coordinating contractors, and keeping me updated on the project. I live elsewhere and she accommodated my schedule when I came into town to see the progress. The crew were respectful of my home and property and were polite and patient with all my questions.<br>I can honestly say, I was very pleased with the JFrancis team from start to finish. I think my six year old granddaughter summed it up perfectly, “This house feels the best of all the houses I know. I am going to live here someday.””

“Owning a restaurant for 50 years, I have had my share of contractors. KBJ is by far, one of the most superior I have employed. From the estimate, the clear communication, to the demolition and rebuild through to the finished job I always felt confident and assured. Not only are the crew personable, professional and respectful of space and customers, they are experts. The strategized on how to take a 30 year old bar floor with significant issues and rebuild it with subfloors, concrete and epoxy so that it looks brand new. Most importantly they worked 12 hour days so that we would be closed the least amount of time. An additional project they worked early morning and overnights to rebuild basement stairs prior to opening. I cannot recommend them enough. Pricing is fair and transparent. Even though it was a small project for them, they took the time to listen to my ideas, helped me make decisions that made the most sense for my house and budget, and did a spectacular job! I had high hopes and they definitely exceeded them. They were quick but thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. I work from home but definitely would have trusted them even if I hadn’t been there! We had to have a badly corroded steel beam replaced under a garage floor. It was a complex job and CJ (Project Manager) and the crew did an amazing job. “Our house is 100 years old and the soffit was in serious need of repair. Squirrels were getting into the attic. We talked to various roofing companies but didn’t want a quick fix that would change the look of the house to be more modern. Luckily a friend recommended the Healey company. From the first meeting, we knew our house would be in good hands, with restoration to make it look the same way it did when it was first built. As with many home projects, once the work began, it became clear that we had bigger problems than we first realized. Not only was the soffit in rough shape, but the box gutters needed to be rebuilt. The Healey company took care of working with a roofer to line the new gutters they built with copper. They were always communicative about what was happening and why, respectful as they used our basement bathroom and utility sink, and they cleaned up after their work all around our house. It was a pleasure interacting with the various team members. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any project or to recommend them to anyone. Their work was exceptional.”
