Open 24 today
1 Foster Ave, Crafton“I have been going to Iron City Elite since February of 2023 and have been very impressed with the coaching staff I have worked with, Maria, Brandon, Meagan, Emily, Rachel and especially Jeremy the owner who all have expertise in various areas. That expertise gives me insight into how best to tackle a specific exercise so as to avoid injury and get the most out of the exercise. I was never much of a weight lifting person but they gave me confidence to try new things and I can proudly say I’ve been doing the first dead lifts of my life! Even when I might run into a pain somewhere they help me modify the routine to make sure I’m still getting value throughout the workout without aggravating the pain. I look forward to continuing to see progress each week!“

5:30AM - 6:30PM
115 26th St, Pittsburgh“MADabolic is unlike any other gym I've ever been to. Everyday is a circuit of challenging activities. I feel strong and energized after each workout. I can't do everything yet, but I can modify the exercises so it works for me. Although there may be many people in a class, everyone is focused on their own task, so I don't feel embarrassed at all about what I can or can't do. All of the trainers I have met so far are friendly and encouraging. I highly recommend giving them a try regardless of your fitness level!“
7:45AM - 8PM
5372 Enterprise Blvd, Bethel Park“Gym is awesome and Dan is the man. Helped my Snatch technique and PR'd a clean in his gym“

212 44th St, Pittsburgh“Ray is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He personalizes each workout and helped me work through several injuries and concerns I had prior to starting. He is engaged in my success, is a great motivator and communicates very effectively. Could not have asked for a better person to work with!“
“The trainers are awesome, welcoming and helpful. The environment is clean and supportive. This has been a great start to my strength training journey.Update: 1 year later and still going strong, Jared and Chelsea are amazing trainers and keep me motivated and coming back for more. If you are looking for an LGBTQIA+ friendly place to get in your strength training, this place is it!“
6AM - 7PM
5500 Butler St, Pittsburgh“Love Pittsburgh Fitness Project! My partner and I go here, it’s one of the most welcoming gyms I’ve ever been to. I never feel judged and am always given clear direction and education on the movements we are doing. Workouts are challenging but I can still move the next day. PFP primal and kettlebell on Tuesdays and Thursday are the best. Shout out to Jake who stayed late when we were delayed bc of traffic and led us through a great workout. Incredibly accommodating and caring gym community!“
8AM - 10PM
605 Melwood Ave, Pittsburgh“I generally don’t write reviews unless a place is particularly bad or particularly good. For Josh's gym, it is most definitely the latter. I’m proud to wholeheartedly recommend his gym and more importantly, him as a trainer. Josh is more knowledgeable than any other trainer I’ve been with and freely shares his wealth of knowledge from health and wellness, nutrition, sustainable growth and of course strength and conditioning. What sets Josh apart from other trainers is his desire for a personal connection. It is easy to see Josh as a friend and not just the other side of the transactionary service. And all this for a great price of $600 per 10 sessions.Josh’s style of training is focused around sustainability as well as education. It is not uncommon to use a significant amount of the hour spent with him simply resting from a hard set, or even the whole hour used for stretching if you tell him places are feeling particularly sore or have pain. During times of rest, Josh often educates you on various concepts that can help you with strength training, nutrition or general wellness for life. For those who want to spend the hour doing focused high intensity workouts and do not wish to interact with their trainer to such a level, Josh is likely not the best trainer for you. But for those who want to learn about all-rounded wellness and are committed to learn and apply techniques to live a more comfortable life, not just in terms of weight training, there is no better trainer than Josh.“
5:15AM - 6PM
5770 Butler St, Pittsburgh“Great place to get training. Brett is awesome and always makes sure this old man does not injure himself.“
“If you are sick of poor service and packed waiting rooms, just to get cracked and sent on your way, I would highly recommend Q3R. Stephanie is very kind and knowledgeable in the field.“
“Karen was awesome helping me jump start my workout routine. Very laid-back personable and relaxed but still a great workout.“
9AM - 6PM
1408 S Negley Ave, Pittsburgh“I have been working with JoAnn at Hydration Health and Fitness for nearly two years. From day one JoAnn listened to my concerns and frustrations about my past with various diets and exercise and empathized deeply. She helped me to instill new habits that are sustainable and realistic with my day to day life. I now feel that I know how to exercise safely, set my own (realistic!!) goals, and create sustainable nutrition plans for myself. Additionally, she helped me to gain a much healthier and less negative outlook on nutrition and exercise which makes this process even more rewarding.“

5746 Baum Blvd, Pittsburgh“Alex is a wonderful trainer! He always made sure I knew what I was doing and why, and he also told me ways to do our workouts at home on days when we didn’t have sessions. He made working out enjoyable and was flexible with his schedule if I need to move our sessions around. The studio was always clean and the staff is also very friendly. It is a great space to exercise!“

8013 McKnight Rd, Pittsburgh“One of my favorite activities I joined after becoming a mom.I've gone pretty religiously for the past 4 years, and although there's been changes, it's always been a welcoming friendly environment.I've learned so much from all the moms I've met along the way. I'm very sad that we don't come nearly as much, but when I do I'm always happy I did.“
7AM - 5PM
250 Mt Lebanon Blvd #413, Pittsburgh“Lisa and Emelia at Touchstone Pilates have given me the ability to participate in my life again. Due to spinal issues that limited my mobility and caused debilitating pain, I spent the better part of two years in physical therapy but still had many limitations. I consulted with two spinal surgeons who both recommended spinal fusion surgery. A strong core helps with the recovery process after spinal surgery, so I called Lisa at Touchstone Pilates. Lisa instructed me over a decade ago and I knew she was extremely knowledgeable, focused and detail oriented as a Pilates instructor. The amount of knowledge she has about classical pilates and how it relates to the body never ceases to amaze me. After a few months working with Lisa, I felt so much better so I added an additional class with Emelia. She is an asset to Touchstone Pilates and I continue to benefit from her instruction. Both Lisa and Emelia tailor the session based on the clients' needs and abilities. They are professional and friendly and have a genuine interest in their clients' progress. At my last consultation with my neurosurgeon, he advised me not to schedule the spinal surgery because my mobility has increased significantly and my pain has decreased significantly. Thank you Lisa and Emelia.“
“Dr Brad is the best. He is so knowledgeable but more importantly, his treatments are effective.“

6AM - 7PM
1155 Washington Pike # 42C, Bridgeville“No gym-timidation here! There are few places in the area where my 85 year-old father, big sister, and myself can work out and be positively pushed to our fitness limits. The trainers are so good at putting together workouts that increase performance levels, while keeping us safe from injury. They don't tell you what to do and walk away. They teach you the correct way, allowing you to push yourself physically and become stronger--It's actually really rewarding. They have group fitness classes too. A good mix of cardio and weight training. The spin bikes are awesome! Just like real bikes that move with you. It's definitely a better workout...and a calorie burner! I highly recommend this gym over any in the area. No workout is the same. It's a great community of really great people!“
7AM - 9PM
4042 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh“This is truly an iconic and special place.I was traveling from South Korea and stopped by because Chris Bumstead was working out here. But even if it's not because of Chris Bumstead, the history of this place is attractive enough in itself.Although it is a bit unkempt in some places, the equipments are all in excellent condition and are full of truly "classic" equipments that are better than the newer ones.If I ever come back to Pittsburgh I will definitely work out here and I will definitely keep thinking about this place in the future.“
5:15AM - 6:30PM
1707 Pennsylvania Ave, Pittsburgh“I have been going to Industrial Athletics for the last 2.5 years, and it has been life changing. Since I joined the gym, I have been inspired to challenge myself with goals I didn’t think were possible. After losing 25 lbs, being able to lift weight above 200 lbs, and running my first half-marathon, these are a few of the things that have happened because of the gym.“
“Stasi transformed me!! She is so motivating and patient. One of the best coaches out there. She never gave up on me and gave me the confidence to take the stage twice! If your looking for a personal trainer or a competition coach, I highly recommend Stasi!!“
“There’s plenty of workout equipment, the staff is professional, and the gym is always clean“
