“Still in a bit of shock at how badly we were treated by Portland Millwork. 15 weeks ago we placed a custom door order with Andrew with the help of our architect and were told it would take 11 weeks. Called 3 days ago to check on the order and have spend everyday since calling and never getting a call back. I literally begged the woman on the phone to have Don, the sales manager call me and still nothing from them. They eventually called our contractor (who had nothing to do with placing the original order) and told him that they never placed the order. No call to us. No apology, no effort to make it right by us. Mistakes happen, but to not take any responsibility and in fact hide from a tough conversation is unacceptable.
UPDATED—after I posted the review, Don did reach out to apologize and to facilitate a reorder that was expedited by a few weeks and was discounted by a bit. The rest of the process proceeded without a snag. The door is of beautiful quality.“

“Showed up on time and repaired my front door which was totally out of plumb and so was the wall. Somehow Jorge managed to fix it. He reattached trim, and caulked. It's like a new door. Took him six hours. They don't do painting, but I already knew that. Jorge also caulked a leaking skylight and included it in the original bid. Anderson is a little high on price, but you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.Also.......Jorge is a nice guy. Be sure to ask for him.“

My husband and I are very happy with our decision to replace and upgrade the windows in our home. Brightside came out and measured everything and within the next month they were back, ready to put in the new windows. They installed all the windows within one day, which was great! I subtracted one star because during the installation, their tools shook our walls so hard a vase flew off one of our shelves and shattered. I do wish I would have known how badly the walls would shake so I could have taken everything off. That being said, they cleaned it all up and apologized. So far, our new windows have been working great! I would work with Brightside again, and I would recommend them!“
