4107 SE Knapp St, Portland“My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. Our favorite part is the daily photo updates we get from Holly when she is watching our dog ♥️ thank you, Holly!“

8581 SE 19th Ave, Portland“I've been using Bowser's Best Buddy for nearly a year - and they are great! My dog LOVES LOVES LOVES going to her once-a-week day-of-play and I feel very secure knowing she is in very competent, loving care while there. Drop off and pick up is a breeze. Photos and videos are sent throughout the day, to the delight of me and my family. The owners are kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have found them!“

He loves it here and has so many friends. It’s been so good for him. The staff are all amazing and I love all the activities they do and the photos that get taken. Highly recommend! They are absolutely amazing!“

2808 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd J, Portland“I adopted a very shy, scared adult kitty, Cady, in March who had been in and out of a shelter and foster care for over a year. She spent the first three months with me under the bed. I travel quite a bit and had taken my previous cat to Pounce for four years so was familiar with their loving care.
After a couple of stays at Pounce Cady started to spend more of her time out from under the bed at home coming to me for pets but never purring or getting on my lap. I brought Cady home three days ago after her stay at Pounce and she now lays on my lap purring her little heart out. I don’t believe she would have blossomed so quickly (seven months) if it weren’t for all the love she got from Windy, Lexie, and Jaiden at Pounce. They are the best!“

330 SW Lincoln St, Portland“We love Ruff House so so much, because our pup loves Ruff House so much! She literally runs to the door when we arrive. She has learned the word “daycare,” which we’ve learned not to say until a few minutes before we leave to head over, because she gets too excited. The staff are incredible, everything is clean and organized, there’s a great, fenced (turf) outdoor space with a hose for the hot summer days, they work on a trick of the month, and they clip our pup’s nails with ease (not easy—I’ve tried). Not to mention!!! They make cards for your doggos birthday! Complete with all their friends’ paw prints. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. ?“

4815 SE Division St, Portland“We think Ruben is amazing and has given us so many helpful ways to help with this puppy! She was only about 8 months when we started. She is still a puppy for sure!!! But, we have so many options and good ways to teach and work with her. He seems to me like a dog whisperer. Again, I would recommend him to anyone! Joanna and Doug“

11580 SE Powell Blvd, Portland“Super glad I chose this service, Michelle makes it easy to communicate with her through text or through phone calls. Her home is warm and inviting and you can instantly see her passion and love for parrots! She surprised us with preparing chop to my parrotlet!! Ripley came back to us as we left her. I think she loved the socialization of being around other birds and apparently she even warmed up to Michelle after a few days. If you can win over a parrotlet, you’re a true “bird whisperer” ? Thanks so much!!“

6025 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland“We love this place. Our cats were immediately exploring their new surroundings. And yes, we will absolutely bring our kitties back whenever we're in Portland. Truly the best, and Anya is lovely, accommodating, knowledgeable, and a cat person at heart. We don't live in Portland, so we're a bit sad that we can't use this spot as our regular kitty hotel. We have had our cats in a variety of spots, but none match the Meowhaus experience.“

14200 SE Woodward St, Portland“We adopted a GSD/ husky mix from a kill shelter in SCAL through a rescue network. We asked all the pertinent questions, especially around getting along with other dogs and temperament. I have fostered dogs before so know that not all dogs like other dogs and what questions to ask.
We were told she did fine with other dogs.
However, this was very much not the case. She was very “dominant” acting and very dog reactive.
We had to keep them separated and every small encounter there turned into a fight.
We decided to seek professional help, Paul was the only trainer who wanted to discuss the case before he took it on to make sure he could help.
We then made an appointment for an evaluation and started working with him.
During the evaluation we also discovered she is an escape artist.
Fast forward three weeks, we can actually have her in her kennel without continuous barking and whining, she can go on walks with our other husky mix without incident or aggression and she does not try to escape from the back yard. Her reactivity when walking to strange dogs is minimal and we are moving towards a calmer household.
Paul knows dogs and is an expert at solutioning.
He contacts us by texts and asks how things are going giving solid tips on dealing with adverse behaviors. Things are moving forward.
I would highly recommend Paul, he knows his dogs, if you listen to the instructions it will work.“

2164 NW Hoyt St #2, Portland“Nicole Flowers is an excellent dog trainer. I highly recommend her services for any type of issue you and your dog are facing. I am with a Weimaraner rescue organization and we have hired Nicole to help us help dogs in foster and adoptive homes, and even to help dog owners who were considering surrendering their dogs to us when what they needed was a good trainer to help them. Common issues we hire Nicole for are leash reactivity, dog aggression, over protective with human, and obsessive/compulsive behavior (with people and food).Nicole's strengths are:* Experience - she has seen it all and been involved in animal training for many years.* Creative solutions - she does not presume to have the immediate solution; she spends time with the dog to understand the issue and then considers what will most likely work and modifies the training as she goes along. The results to her approach are amazing!* Professionalism, reliability and communication. Nicole listens very well to each detail the dog owner provides and explains her training approach so it is easy to follow for someone not familiar with dog training.I can truly say that in several cases where we hired Nicole, I do not know what we'd have done without her. In every case she made a positive impact for the dog and the people involved. 100% success in every case.“

“We LOVE Chris! Our pup REFUSED to be trained until we brought her to him! He has done magic with her! She is so well behaved and is a total new dog! We couldn’t ask for a better trainer! Sweetpea LOVES her trainer aswell! EVERYTIME we drive by she gets all excited thinking we are dropping her off! When we do drop her off she goes right in all excited to see all her friends including Chris! We are so unbelievably greatful for university K9! Our pup used to run right up to dogs (to say hi) but we couldnt get her to stop. After leaving her with Chris for a few weeks we now can comfortably go on walks off leash and know she won’t leave our side unless we say so! She’s doing so great! We are so so proud!!!HUGE thank you to University K9 for everything they have tough her!!!!❤️❤️“
