“I have lived in my place for just short of two years, and last summer my AC did not work. I had someone come out, and they said there was nothing they could do. I was really hot during the heat dome, even though I had my air on, but there was no cool air coming in. That person was subsequently fired, not because of my issue alone, but that was telling.

Today, Matt, who came, said he was going to take care of me and figure it out. He was great. By great, I mean he explained everything to me in detail, answered all the questions I had, and taught me how to tell if the pipes inside of the HVAC room are working. He showed me a few tests that I could do myself to tell. He taught me how to tell if anything was moving or not. It was simple for me to do. Discovered at the end, after checking everything on the roof and a few other hints, that it was a breaker in the fuse box that had tripped. Once we reactivated the breaker, we turned on the AC for the first time since I've lived here, it started to work. That went back up on the roof to cross-check that things were now working up there, and they were. The numbers of the reader up there were what they ought to be. Everything is now working!

I rarely turn on my AC except when we're in a heat dome or have temperatures that are really high in the 90s. I've been so anxious when it gets really hot because it's so hot in my apartment.

I'm now relaxed that, when and if the weather should become very hot, I know I will be able to be comfortable in my place and use the AC when needed on those rare days.

“We had a couple of plumbing problems, and one was more serious because it was causing water leaks. We had used this plumbing company before and always got great service from skilled techs. This time, we were very thankful for Mike, who came out and reviewed everything with my wife and me. He understood the plumbing issues right away and gave us a clear estimate quickly. After that, I worked with the office team, who scheduled Carson for the job. Carson did an excellent job and carefully tested everything after the repair work to make sure the plumbing problems were fully fixed. The first task was removing and sealing the lines from an old water softener that we no longer used. Carson handled that quickly and then moved on to the bigger repair, which was replacing old plumbing pipe with new PVC piping. Before starting, Carson explained his plan clearly. Once the work was done, we tested all the water fixtures in the house, including showers, tubs, sinks, and toilets. He found one small issue, fixed it right away, and then did more testing. During that process, he noticed a small amount of water near a wall by the piping area. He explained that the movement from replacing the older pipes likely revealed a hidden weak spot in another section of plumbing behind the wall. Carson carefully opened a small section of drywall, showed us the old corroded pipe, and replaced it with new PVC right away. He then put the drywall piece back in place and completed another full round of testing. After that, everything was working properly with no more leaks. Since the repair, everything has continued to look great, and there have been no further plumbing issues. I really appreciated the care Carson took with the work, along with the extra testing to make sure every leak and pipe problem was fully resolved. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Garner Plumbing Co. – Technician: Mitchell Beers I want to take a moment to recognize Gardner Plumbing Co., and especially technician Mitchell Beers, for exceptional service and integrity. We were working through our home insurance after noticing a loud noise coming from our water heater and water collecting in the drain pan underneath. I even posted about it in a community Facebook group, and nearly everyone advised that the water heater likely needed to be replaced. The first plumbing company sent by our insurance took less than a minute to look at it and immediately said the unit needed to be fully replaced—even though it was only two years old. We were told this could cost us up to $1,200 out of pocket, despite already having spent about $800 previously to bring it up to code. After pushing the issue, we were advised that since the unit was still under manufacturer warranty, another company would come out. That’s when Gardner Plumbing Co. sent Mitchell. Mitchell took his time, thoroughly inspected every component, and truly assessed the situation rather than jumping to conclusions. He identified that the issue was not the water heater itself, but a hose at the top that had slipped and was causing the leaking and condensation, which in turn created the noise and water buildup. A small adjustment and minor fix later—no more noise, no more leaking, and the water heater was in perfect working condition. What stood out the most was Mitchell’s honesty and professionalism.
