The dentist advised replacing several fillings where a second opinion from a conservative dentist said there was no need.“

“Dr. Lee is an excellent dentist who also has a great staff working in the office. His practice caught me up on about 4 years of dental work (long story), and has done it carefully and efficiently, working through the (ridiculous) insurance limitations, etc. His dental work is fantastic, and he's kind, personable, and makes sure you understand the work he's doing, as well as what he recommends and why.

“I was a mess, and in excruciating pain. I couldn’t eat or sleep. As a non-insured patient, I couldn’t wait for a low-cost clinic. So I ended up here hoping for the best. Dr. Maliheh saw me for my initial visit and cleaned the bad tooth, and prepped for root canal all in the same day. I actually slept that night. I was so incredibly thankful. They got me in the very next day to finish with Dr. Houston, who did a phenomenal job with my root canal. So much so, I almost fell asleep during. They worked with me financially so the hit wasn’t drastic, but manageable. The front desk folks are amazing as well. I can now finally go back to focusing on life and not just constant overwhelming pain. I’m so relieved I chose to go here and I thank them all a thousand times over.“

From my first call with his assistant to schedule my appointments, to today when he replaced two of my crowns, I could not be more pleased. As someone with an unnatural fear of dental work, specifically the numbing shots, today was the first time I had a painless experience getting injectable numbing shots! And…it was a lot of numbing as the crowns were upper and lower on the same side. I didn’t know it was possible and I can’t recommend Dr Josh highly enough! His overall demeanor is about helping and supporting his patients, not simply about profit, and that’s an amazing thing these days. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Amazing dentist. Went to Willamette dental a few days prior that wouldn't help with the pain. Said the tooth couldn't be saved and had to refer me to a specialist. Went back to Willamette dental after 2 days and no date yet to take care of the tooth causing so much pain. They told me to rub whiskey on it! So I decided to seek out help. Emergency& general dental got me right in even on extreme short notice on a Saturday! They were able to perform the first part of a root canal to take care of the decay that had reached a nerve and solved at least the pain issue today and scheduled when I can come back to complete the root canal. 7 hours later I'm finally pain free. Thank you. It was a blessing to be treated with respect and an actual plan of action. Best experience I've had in my adult life at a dentist. Which is stark contrast to Willamette dental which is the worst experience I had.“

“I was looking for a dentist away from all the local dentists I've tried close to my house. I looked up dentists in the Beaverton area and Dr. Alex Marrero at Summercrest Dental popped up. I called and talked to the receptionist for probably 15 min. She was so nice and I felt like she really wanted to get to know me and what I was needing done. Well, just by her taking her time with me, I decided to give it a shot. The Dentist, Alex Marrero met me at the door and welcomed me in. Let me just tell you, Dr. Marrero was super friendly, had a sense of humor, had great music playing and asked me questions about my issues before looking in my mouth, again, I felt like he wanted to get to know me and not just my mouth/teeth. Dr. Alex also was very thorough cleaning my teeth and I felt like he did a wonderful job, my teeth have never felt so clean. The dental assistant was so helpful and sweet and even though she was wearing a mask, I could see her big smile shining through it. Great team work!! I was very disappointed when the Dentist told me, "I will see you in 6 months,"... as I was looking forward to coming back sooner. Oh, and also, I have hated my smile for so long due to a chip I have in my front teeth, Dr. Marrero fixed my chip and I feel so much better about myself and can't wait to actually smile in my pictures now. I went to my first appointment and they explained everything, they have tvs on the ceiling which help distract me. I had to go in for a filling today and it was honestly one of the best experiences I have had. I watched Friends on tv, listened to my audiobook, and everything went super smoothly. I love that they don't use dental dams and I'm just relieved to have found a great dentist for hopefully years to come.“
