“Dude, nobody likes going to the dentist. I hadn’t been in over 20 years but this was the year I was upgrading my insurance so I was going to take advantage of it. Needless to say I have a ton of issues. Rand was amazing and honestly, even though I know I have a lot of things I need to fix, she gave me a lot of confidence in my smile again by removing over 20 years worth of build up. I’m so impressed and I’m only halfway through my cleaning (they split it up and do half your mouth at a time which is easier on everyone.) Dr Martinez is also very nice and didn’t make me feel like a disgusting garbage monster for the shape of my teeth. They even helped send meds over to my local pharmacy to help me chill out pre cleaning. Also, it might just be me, but the radiographing and imaging is really cool. The receptionist is always understanding and friendly too. They are so great and I’m glad I found them, but I still hate going to the dentist. ?❤️

2.17.2025; I went back in for my other half of my cleaning today. Rand was great and so personable and made me not feel like a giant baby for my hatred of needles. Scheduled my next cleaning for June already. She’s literally the sweetest.

12.23.2025; went back today for a routine cleaning with Rand and she is just simply amazing. I think if I had a hygienist like her when I was a kid that I would not have waited 20 years to go back to the dentist. She gets so excited about things that show she really cares and I feel like I’m in good hands with her.“

“I can’t say enough , I have always had gag reflexes that have me up out of the chair throwing up. Has been my entire life - most dentist act like they don’t know how to help but the dental assistant and dr were very understanding and were able to stop my gagging“

“I've been coming here since I was a kid. After some time in the military and trying a few new places when I moved back here I'm right back to Smith Dental. They are always so kind, work with your budget and schedule, I've never felt that they try to oversell me on anything. The hygienists are all very friendly and wonderful at their jobs. They give you a cute goodie bag after every cleaning with floss/toothbrush and toothpaste. I feel like they truly care for each person as an individual and don't rush through things. They've recently moved and the new office is gorgeous! Spacious and clean, they still have their cute clown fish and larger waiting area. I didn't have insurance until recently and they helped me out with their personal insurance/dental program. They also told me about care credit which helped cover me when I couldn't afford what was needed but didn't want to space the fillings out over time... Which was a totally viable option that they offered me. I truly believe if you come here you won't be happy anywhere else!“

“I broke a tooth and they had me in 1st thing next day. Filled the broken section after an X-ray. I was done in 15 minutes with no novacain. Dr. Chavez is very professional and experienced. Well recommended and I have had a lifetime of dental issues.“
