“My furnace had been leaking water so I called an HVAC company in Georgetown, that I've been a customer of for years, to investigate. I was advised that the drain pipe was plugged and the condenser and A/C needed replacing and quoted me $7,100 (this was less $355 customer discount). It is a bungalow, approx. 800-900 sq. ft. and they said the 2 ton unit they quoted on was the smallest and the same size that was already there. Thinking this was far too high, I asked around and that was confirmed so I contacted John at North Halton Heating. He discovered the drain pipe wasn't plugged but had a kink in it, which he showed me. He has replaced it and is confident that will resolve the situation. He was friendly, professional, knowlegeable and am so happy he wants to try the repair route vs. immediately replacing the entire unit.
