My furnace had been leaking water so I called an HVAC company in Georgetown, that I've been a customer of for years, to investigate. I was advised that the drain pipe was plugged and the condenser and A/C needed replacing and quoted me $7,100 (this was less $355 customer discount). It is a bungalow, approx. 800-900 sq. ft. and they said the 2 ton unit they quoted on was the smallest and the same size that was already there. Thinking this was far too high, I asked around and that was confirmed so I contacted John at North Halton Heating. Early Christmas Eve morning, we woke to a freezing house. We feared the vent motor was gone and we would have to wait until the following Tuesday, when the suppliers were open, to get the part. John came over to our house promptly, assessed, went back home and came back with a $10 part. Voila! We had heat and wore Santa hats to be festive, rather than because we were freezing. Thanks John!!!
