“Although my family has not experienced the billing and aftermath that could cause this review to change (per the other reviews), I'm here to comment on my mother's treatment. My mom went in for a some basic concerning ailments (dizziness, nausea). The staff at Mt. Carmel East reviewed her information and performed a variety of tests. They concluded that she needed to be seen by the cardiac unit. In an effort to protect her privacy, I will just say they were thorough, kind, funny and every single person from specialists, PT, OT and especially the nurses treated her with dignity, kindness and compassion. She had a follow up appointment with Ortho for a different reason and needed surgery. The surgery itself went flawless. Being an older person, she presented concerns post-op. They did not kick her out on the street to free up a bed and kept her until all concerns were addressed and she was cleared. Furthermore, what made her the most emotional, is she needed to be in the ICU for a few days. The staff protected her from the severe trauma cases that were going on around her and she knew it. She is forever grateful and so are we, her family. Healthcare workers are overworked, understaffed and often abused by patients who do not feel well. They deserve the compassion that they give out to others. I've never been to a hospital in which you did not have to wait long hours, that comes with the territory while they prioritize the life or death cases being presented to them and how many. I would recommend that we all think of this when considering complaining about wait times.“

“Wow! I am BLOWN AWAY by the AMAZING and extremely compassion and caring staff here! Yes here... because I'm still here and couldn't wait to write this review! The NP Aaron was nothing short of perfect. I am a very anxious person with severe panic attacks. And fear everything. Which comes along with my mental health "issues".I have never felt more cared for by an entire facility. When I place the appointment yesterday I was getting emotional because I was talking about some emotional things... When I hung up with in 10 minutes I had a nurse calling me and asking me if I was okay. the woman that made my appointment had spoke with the doctor because she was concerned and then he became concerned and so he reached out to another employee and she called me and we talked for 30 minutes, ABOUT EVERYTHING!? I mean really who does that?!I'm leaving right now and I'm completely excited about my future and I know that everything's going to be okay and I'm going to be able to move forward and take care of myself and I'm excited to come back in 30 days. I was reminded about 10 times before I walked out the door that if I need anything to make sure I call the office that they will be there for me.THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!If you need a family physician right here is exactly where you need to be!!!!“

“Had an appointment and I didn't have to wait very long. Receptionist was very nice and the Dr. was very quick and professional. In and out in around 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend.“

“I needed tests run to be admitted for surgery WITH ONLY HOURS NOTICE to Health First. They allowed me to meet my timeline for hospital admission. Yes, there was a lot of paperwork. Yes, I had to wait longer than expected. Nursing staff was VERY technically knowledgeable, but not cordial. That was OK with me. This was not a social call, and the office was full of other patients. I would use them again.“

“I took my daughter here Saturday night 03/01/25. I was highly impressed with this location. The kind security guard got us a wheelchair immediately. We were registered right away. I noticed that every staff member in this place was professional, polite, caring & concerned. Hours are limited, but the place is clean. The entire process after x-rays was not long. If I ever need a location again I would gladly come here.“
