“My Wife and I have been receiving our medical care here for several years now. We have never been disappointed. Parking and access are more than ample. The facilities are warm, clean, and spacious including the exam rooms and bathrooms. We have never had to wait. There is a laboratory facility on site which makes your health care quite convenient. The staff are pleasant and problem solvers. I especially appreciate the professionalism and work ethic of R Mackenzie MA. She is on top of receiving messages, delivering messages and returning prompt replies. Prescription refills are precise. She is adept at juggling schedules and procedures. I always know that I can count on her no matter what the issue.
My Wife and My physician is Dr. Sheldon Edwards, MD, MSC, FACP. These are a lot of letters following his name. The most significant is FACP meaning Fellow of the American College of Physicians. The ACP is the largest organization representing Internists in this country. Fellowship is an elite honor bestowed upon very few Internists. These individuals are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have been in the practice of Internal Medicine as well as a member of the ACP for at least three years. Formal requirements include three of the following : (1) a history of teaching or mentoring of others in the field of Internal Medicine, (2) a history of conducting research or publishing articles in peer reviewed journals, (3) regular completion of continuing medical education (CME) or activities like the Medical Knowledge Self Knowledge Program (MKSAP), (4) showing leadership and performing community service. Dr. Edwards qualified for Fellowship by achieving all four of these requirements. His clinical practice is displayed by a high quality of health care accompanied by a high degree of medical knowledge. His referrals are to physicians also of high quality and knowledge. My Wife and I are very fortunate to have Dr. Edwards as our primary care physician. That Dr. Edwards is a member of Central Ohio Primary Care speaks volumes of that organization.”
