I ended up here for a pre-op appt after being told my primary doesn’t do those appts and getting the runaround from Mt. Carmel. When I pulled up, I was a little taken aback and immediately searched reviews. I was hesitant to have the appt after reading reviews but I had a perfectly fine experience. Brielle was my nurse and was fantastic and Alyscia was my NP who was fine. It was quick and easy and now I’m ready for surgery. The building is old and off the beaten path and it was annoying that I had to fill out pages of paperwork after filling it out online the night before from the text they sent… but other than that, no issues.
Went here today for pre testing of an upcoming surgery. Staff was quick to notice me and was very friendly and professional. Brielle, the assistant, gets 5 stars alone for drawing blood in one take! I usually walk out of blood draws with purple and yellow marks due to weak veins. Alicia, the NP, was friendly and professional as well. I'm not sure why this place was getting some bad reviews. Highly recommend!
This place, which is a tatty, remodeled ranch house specializes in pre-surgery testing. Most people seen, therefore, are there immediately prior to undergoing surgery. Despite this, and despite the fact that there is a current strong upsurge in COVID-19 infections, not a single staff member, not even the nurses or nurse practitioner were masked. Whether you understand the efficacy of masking or not, pre-surgery guidance specifies that every precaution should be taken since becoming infected will cause your surgery to be cancelled, never mind the fact that people who need surgery are by definition, health compromised. I find this lack of respect for patients to be shameful.
